OCZ probably a good buy right now, no?
Now there's rumors they might dilute the stock more to gain some more cash. If that happens expect another dip. Overall I think they'll be OK but expect a while before things turn around.
From whom? That is bullshit from stocktwits. Read the earnings transcript; I remember seeing something about additional line(s) of credit.. nothing mentioned about stock dilution..
Why didn't I sell OCZ at 7? Could have bought back in now. oh well guess I can hold it through the holiday season now.
What's holding nVidia back? Overall decrease in computer sales?
yea, you're right. tech insdr Someone made the same point of the credit line the comments.
MRVL down AH on misses across the board.. Lets see how this pans out..
What is your thoughts on something like OXF (coal mining in Midwest)? Their dividends are at 20% since the stock dropped in price by half. Is it likely they will cut dividends to fall back into the 10% range? I'm thinking if I can get in at this price, even if the dividend yield drops due to increasing stock price, I'll still have the same yield, just would have to stop reinvestment of dividends at higher prices.
Facebook, under $20. Maybe I'll buy it when it drops to $10.
Assets are falling and debt is increasing. That is the only way they could be paying such a dividend, but you are right it can't last, since they haven't had a profitable quarter in some time. I don't think they will cut the dividend just 50%, my guess is they would get rid of it completely. The best reason to play this stock is if you believe Nat Gas will be increasing in price to the point that utilities begin more coal usage and less Nat Gas.
Should've gotten back in on OCZ at 4.50was one click away from confirming the trade but thought I was being too impulsive and cancelled!
You have a skill most don't realize is a skill. Don't regret it.
Erm, not to sound like a wise ass, but hindsight is a skill? Don't worry, I think I might've sold near there! Shouldn't have done that, feels worse! Mrvl was a fantastic pooch screw. Should've sold the minute I heard the stuttering execs on conf call.
Btw, psec is now 11.42 - 5.5% price increase ain't bad for a stock that yields 10+%
Unless he was being sarcastic, discipline and being able to resist being impulsive is a very good skill, especially when playing higher-risk tech stocks.
I've been sitting it out over the past two to three weeks. Really busy at work and just not seeing any action. With my luck, there's a massive rally coming. In the mean time, it doesn't look like I've missed much.
