Looks like a 2011 911. Which looked like a 2010 911. Which looked like a 2009 911. See where I'm going with this?

I'm really not even sure why they even bother. You're buying a 911....everyone knows what its looked like for the past 50 years.

That said, I still want a late 80's Targa.

Gorgeous. Nice subtle improvements.

People who say things like this about every "new" model of 911 are the same kind of people who discuss the subtle differences between their $15k power cord and their $25k power cord for their home stereo

I'm not terribly fond of the increased rear overhang, but I suppose it helps the aerodynamics and it's still much better than the 996 cars with those horrible headlight/turn signal combination blobs up front.

Don't you have a 914?

Looks pouty catfish with eyes filling up with tears and one leaking out the side. Makes me want to cry.

Note to Chevrolet, button together an interior like that and I might, one day, actually consider buying a Corvette.

I'm on the fence about that. A 911 is a $80k plus car in base trim while the Vette is barely $50k. If it had to step down to Carerra performance and go up that much in price, is that really a good thing?

There's nothing about a better designed interior that makes it more expensive. GM just has bad designers working on the Corvette for some reason.

The silver in the Porsche interior is terrible though. This isn't 1998. Things aren't silver anymore.

Except for, you know, the non-recurring engineering cost...

GM isnt a company that really knows anything about high end cars, they primarily work on rental cars and low prices family cars. So, when they make a high dollar supercar like a Corvette ZR1, it gets cobalt interior. Literally, the ZR1 has the same exact steering wheel you get from a cobalt
