I think they should share it. No shame in sharing an award like that, it's not really something you "win" it's more just a sign of respect. OROY, DROY, and MVP are more competitive-type awards that should never be shared.

Agreed. The biggest joke in MVP history was when Steve McNair got to share it with Peyton Manning.

Yeah I was incorrect. The Ravens were horrible yesterday, the fact that they clinched a playoff berth the same day made me chuckle.

I do feel a little bad for all the grief that Joe Flacco is getting though. His offensive line is shit and the defense is porous & has been devastated by injuries. There are many, many things wrong with the Ravens that are worse than Flacco.

Agreed however he is kind of asking for it. Those in the know are fully aware that Cam Cameron was let go to make Flacco happy. Which was clearly a terrible move to make at such a pivotal time of the season. One which he perpetuated, when he should have tried harder to finish the season and end things amicably

Houston is overrated and hasn't been playing well. The Colts should have beaten them yesterday -- the game was much closer than the 29-17 final and one of your former Steeler buffoons (Mewelde Moore) cost us a TD with a fumble at the goal line.

I would be very surprised if Houston wins the AFC. Denver and NE should be able to beat them.

At least we lost to winning teams and didn't get our asses handed to us by Can't Newton like Matt Ryan did. A sign of things to come in the playoffs right there.

I don't know, that was just the theory that both ESPN and NFLN analysts have been throwing around. A few of which seem to be pretty certain and with past experience with the franchise.

I think its that combined with everything else you said too. They want to see him with a different OC but in reality, they probably needed to make the change sooner or in the off season. I guess they decided they couldn't wait which lends itself a lot to what you are saying. I imagine its all true, maybe more so what you're saying then just because Flacco didn't like him - but one is a by product of the other - since they need to see what Flacco can do running the no huddle and offensive scheme that he wants to run.

You obviously DON'T get it, because the Colts are 9-5 only because of a weak schedule. Otherwise, they're a 5 or 6 win team at most.

We had the second hardest schedule after the Super Bowl champions. And look who had the easiest, Goodell's favorite Tom Brady

As I said, I'm too lazy to do the numbers on the other teams at the top of the league and can't find the numbers easily - but I would bet they all look similar for every other team favored to win it all.

I'd rather go into the playoffs with a team that loses to the occasional bad team and can beat great teams than one that consistently beats bad teams and loses to good teams.

Broncos could beat both Houston and NE if they got another shot. Our team is so much different now then it was week 3 and week 5.

Joe Mays is no longer calling plays for our defense, he isn't even a starting LB any more. Tracy Porter's lazy ass is on the sidelines and not opposite Champ Bailey. DJ Williams is back after serving a suspension to provide lots of support in the middle.

You look at the way the Broncos defense has played the last few weeks and tell me that isn't an elite defense. If you can say that, get your eyes checked

AP played 12 games last year and barely missed 1000 yards. I'm not sure he is in the discussion for the award with that in mind.

doesn't matter how many games they played--the award has been given to people that simply improved substantially, even after playing a complete season. add to that playing injured, missing 4 games, and that "barely missing 1000 yards" is actually quite a significant drop off when talking about Peterson, he should be 1 or 2 in the discussion.

People keep ignoring this fact. I think AP deserves it more, but I may be biased. If he gets them in the playoffs (not bloody likely) he deserves the MVP too.

You just don't get it. The Broncos aren't even close to the same team as they were in week 3 and 5 during those 2 losses. The team they are now would manhandle that team.

Manning has gotten stronger and more chemistry with his WR's every week. Our WR's have gotten better with every week of having him coach them. Our defense has completely transformed.

You just don't get it. But if you think our team hasn't evolved over the course of this season, with every single part of the team being better then it was. With the possible exception of McGahee who has been effectively replaced by Knowshon at this point, then you don't know a thing about football.

That all may be true, but it's a lot easier to look like a great team against some of the dregs they have been playing (the Ravens are a terrible team and don't try to say otherwise).

The Broncos look like an excellent team, but against that schedule, many teams would. I suspect they are still very good, I am just not sure they are as good as their recent box scores seem to indicate. Should make for some fun playoffs regardless.

They lost all of those games at the beginning of the season. We are not the same team we were in week 5. We lost all 3 of those before week 6.

You're biased (but I am too!). Missing an entire season after having a total of 4 neck surgeries, moving to a new team, and having the kind of season he is having makes Manning a no-brainer to me.

Yeah, a lot of the Cameron haters around here are saying he should have been let go either after last season or at the end of this one. Firing an OC 3/4s of the way into the season doesn't give the new guy enough time to change anything and it just smacks of panic and desperation.

There's a lot of love for Ozzie Newsome out there but I think he's made some mistake managing salaries. Ed Reed isn't worth what he's being paid anymore. Ray Lewis is questionable as well. Vonta Leach is getting paid too much. Most expensive fullback in the NFL?

I don't think anyone will have the balls to cut Ray Lewis but I'm hoping they realize that Ed Reed's time is done. The cap space he consumes could be used to plug a lot of holes.

Yea, I think Copper nickles has wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy more upside then Alex Smith, but that should be completely and utterly obvious to anyone who actually knows football and has watched them both play. i've been listening to some ravens sports talk around here and it is HILARIOUS to hear the ravens fans calling for flacco's head saying he sucks, when a few months ago every raven fan was calling him one of the elite qb's of the league.
