Baltimore will be difficult, but I don't expect them to win against the ravens. Browns, Dallas, and Phili a second time, no reason the Skins shouldn't be 9-7 this year.

The Steelers are hopeless, but thanks for beating Baltimore and showing that they are perhaps even more hopeless. Broncos are now tied in the AFC with them and NE. Two bad teams right there (AFC North) masquerading as good teams. I know feel like the Broncos should have the Ravens number come December 16

Possible NE/Den playoff game, as a Pat fan I'm glad it would probably happen in NE as our regular season win would be a tiebreaker. I'll tell you what though, Peyton is full Peyton again, you know BB respects the man when he goes for a 4th and 2 ON HIS OWN 29YD LINE instead of trusting the D to stop Indy. Denver's defense has come around quite a bit, they don't have to try and climb out of a 14-17 point hole every week like the first month of the season, could wind up being a great game. Big test for both NE and Hou next Monday night, sucks we will probably be without Edleman as he left the Miami game in the 4th qtr and was seen in a walking boot and crutches when the team left..

To think that Morris & RGIII are both rookies - if you watched the game, and kept that in mind, you know how excited the Redskins fans have to be. If they can get their act together on defense, get their defense healthy, they should have a string of years in the playoffs.

I wanna see solid play at corner and safety, and get a stud target for Bobert.

that would be nice.

yup :D

i almost can't wait for the off-season, when a bunch of receivers with chips on.

just to think of what shanahan has been able to do with these no-name players and turn them into a gelled offensive force is really something special. rg3 is an absolute playmaker and the real deal. the guy is destined for greatness. he has turned a bunch of guys who are on par with 2nd or 3rd string into viable receivers. imagine how amazing the team will be when we start getting receivers who want to be traded to washington just to play with rg3... unstoppable.

Assuming the Giants actually show up and play the way they are capable of playing, this will be an easy win for the G-men. Eli will be the indicator, if he plays well, the team will and win. If not, Washington can definitely take it away
i want to thank you AMDZen with all my heart for rooting for the giants to win, me and the redskins nation thank you :thumbsup:

this win for rg3 should get him rookie of the year for sure now

sixth game with a 100-plus passer rating, his eighth without an interception, and his second in which one of his fumbles turned into a Redskins score.

i freakin' hate the stupid goddamn look on Eli's face every time they show him. helmet on, helmet off, doesn't matter, he's a mouth breather. i posted this image in multiple threads earlier in the season, and I swear to god it is the EXACT same expression on Eli's face any time the camera showed him. This may as well have been a screen grab from MNF.

Yeah, he's a mouth breather. He's always looked like this. It's almost cruel to say it, but Peyton got the smarts and the looks. D:

I never thought I'd say this but I have a horrible feeling that the Ravens will lose to the Redskins. Ugh.

I'd be mildly surprised if the Ravens did win to be honest. Of course, they just about have to win the game to win the division because they've got games with Denver and the Giants remaining.

The games against the Broncos and the Giants are at home though. As we learned on Sunday that's no guarantee that the Ravens will play well, but at least they've shown that they're capable of playing well when they're in Baltimore. On the road they seem to be incapable of being more than "meh."

Congrats, but I'll be rooting against the skins the rest of the season and still bet you finish .500 at the best and most likely below it. Enjoy this one while it lasts though, you deserve a hint of success, even if its just a hint of it :p

Yea he should definitely get it for being lucky on stupid plays

I think Luck is still ahead, particularly with the COlts more likely playoff chances. If both teams get in, though....we may have co-RoY.

"The latest scuttlebutt in the league has (Jon) Gruden, on the brink of turning age 50, in line to rejoin the Raiders' organization in a prominent role."

wow, you guys really hate RG3 for no particular reason.

...a "routine" fumble is suddenly an idiotic mistake. :hmm:

I had to laugh at that comment too, as if fumbling and someone else turning your idiotic mistake into a score somehow counts as a positive.

I learned quite a bit from last nights game.

1) You are 100% dead on with him being a running QB. He is basically just Tim Tebow with more accuracy. Which isn't a bad thing assuming he can keep winning doing what he is doing. He broke the record for rushing yards by a rookie QB last night which says it all.

2) You are also 100% dead on with his durability concerns. They showed a montage of his hits this season and he had been knockedTheFuckOut on several occasions this year but still insists on running and taking the big hit. Gruden was right on too when he said "I don't see how his career will last if he keeps taking hits like this".

and what do you know? you also guaranteed the redskins and not the eagles would be the bottom of the nfc east. :D

What are you talking about? Nobody said that. His biggest fan tried to make it out to be a positive thing and a reason he should win rookie of the year.

LOL

We are just pointing out how ridiculous that notion is.

I don't hate RG3 at all, I hate all the hype surrounding him because he is NOT better than Luck. Hell, at this point, I don't even know if he is better than Russell Wilson.

Guys, seriously - you do realize that this season, Russell Wilson has defeated Aaron Rodgers (on a fluke but still), Tom Brady, Tony Romo and Jay Cutler? He has faced and defeated some of the best teams in the league. And nobody even talks about him. So now RG3 finally has a legitimate win, the first one this season IMO.

Why? Because everyone is too busy sucking on RG3's nuts to even realize other things that are going on in the league.

and what do you know? you also guaranteed the redskins and not the eagles would be the bottom of the nfc east. :D

That could still happen.

Actually agree with everything here.. and definitely agreed with the bold.
