Lost two players to IR on the same play last week.. ouch.

At least the extension to Bowman was good news for the day.

I cant believe Jamaal Charles and Dwayne Bowe are getting shit for getting PFMs autograph. Bowe just took a picture with him and wishes he was getting balls thrown from PFM instead of Quinn and Cassel. Give the guy a break.

Saw that too.. Big deal if they're getting his autograph and posing in photos.

Think I saw a poll where 85%+ said it was a non issue.

If Pittsburgh gets Ben Roethlisberger back they might have a chance. If they have to play with their third-string quarterback again then they're doomed.

The Squealers even with him - playing Ravens at home - not a chance :p

Well, as the Ravens proved against Dallas they are also capable of playing mediocre football at home, although generally they play very well when they're in Baltimore. The defense seems to have emerged from its earlier slump (so much for the doom & gloom predictions when Ray Lewis was injured.)

Reading up, it seems the 4 players "closest" to MVP this year is

Aaron Rodgers
Tom Brady
Peyton Manning
JJ Watt

With Tom Brady the only one receiving more than 1 vote at the moment.

Personally I would vote for JJ Watt, as neither QB has set themselves apart (Rodgers has highest rating this season at the moment [just slightly higher than Brady], however brady has a few more yards/TDs. and Peyton is already in the running for comeback player of the year)

Do you have a link referencing your nonsense? Everything I read has Peyton Manning as the clear frontrunner per the media. He is also leading everyone in Pro Bowl voting by a LARGE margin which I didn't even know had begun.

He will win MVP, as well as comeback player of the year. To think that he won't win MVP because he will win the latter is nonsense.

Yea, running away.

Meanwhile Andrew Luck has a winning record and clearly isn't a candidate at all.

He's already won nearly twice as many games but naww, clearly Bob 3.0 deserves it because he is "so dynamic"
And let's not forget that Luck has more yards by the end of November than any rookie QB in the history of the NFL. But, you know, RG3's running away with it.

Never ment that he couldn't win both. And that winning comback player of the year would mean he wouldn't win MVP.

Statistically Brady > Peyton, so saying peyton is "the front runner" would be incorrect. Even Brady's Patriot's are doing as well if not better than the broncos and don't have to go through the chiefs and raiders twice to obtain it.

And looking at it statistically: Rodgers, Brady, Manning (P), and a few others are pretty close, There is no real front runner.

Peyton will win the pro bowl voting. Thats a no brainer. everyone loves peyton.

And what I read was just a survey, but the top names circulating around are the 4 I gave (Brady received most votes on that survey of NFL executives). In which I think the Texans D has been sharp this year and I believe the 14 sacks and 12 knockdowns and many tackles for loss JJ Watt has done is more than worthy of the MVP.

How I see the awards going:

MVP: (If it HAS to be a quarterback) Tom brady [Otherwise JJ Watt]

Comeback player of the year: Peyton Manning

Defensive player of the year: JJ Watt

Offensive player of the year (never is the same as MVP, which is funny): Unknown

Rookie of the year: Andrew Luck

That game for the Steelers was TERRIBLE Sunday. Am I reading the stat sheet right? 5 lost fumbles with 5 different people and 3 Charlie Batch interceptions. 8 Turnovers and they still managed to have a close game?

That speaks to how good the steelers defense is and how awful the browns are.

Smart man, and I have to reluctantly agree about Brady (assuming he keeps it up).

the Browns aren't really "awful" this year. ...but keep thinking that.

The Browns have played everyone tough but always seem to find ways to lose. I feel bad for them and their fans.

Oakland is an example of a bad team -- oh wait, the Steelers lost to them too and Rapelisberger played! :D

Yes, the Raiders are truly awful. Also, the Chargers are fucking terrible. :(

And Indy got their ass kicked by the Jets. I'd say that's more embarrassing than a narrow loss to Oakland.

RG III proved he has talent and spunk, but Andrew Luck looks like he was ment to be out there, and I feel has a better overall leadership attached too.

Doesn't hurt RG III has to try and play well with the "ahem" Redskins.

And Luck has a decent team that was just in need of an offensive leader/QB, to be competitive.

and his 76.1 passer rating compared to RG3 104.6 says other wise.

Right because going through the Bills and Jets is so much more difficult then the Raiders and Chiefs. I'd say the Raiders are better then both of those teams and the Chargers are better then Miami. But lets face it, both the Broncos and Patriots had it easy this year. The difference is, the Patriots have it easy every year because that division is always terrible except for 2 years of the Jets being "OK" because of their defense.

ALso, you have yet to post a link where as I just posted one that shows Manning as the frontrunner.

Yea... that divison... as I said 2 weeks ago. If the Broncos don't walk away with the divison, it would be a cold day in hell.

And I will say that if you honestly believe the AFC East is any better then the AFC West you are kidding yourself. They are only slightly better statistically and have had the much easier schedule - AFC west faced the NFC South and AFC North this year. So all of us have had to face Baltimore, Atlanta, Tampa Bay, Pittsburgh. Much harder schedule then the AFC East had

You guys are all a joke.

If you honestly believe that the Colts are a better team then the Redskins. LOL

Redskins have the better team all around and you guys are wrong, the Colts were the worst team last year for a reason. Andrew Luck deserves even MORE credit for taking the worst team in the league to a winning record the next year.

He should win rookie of the year and if he doesn't, its bias for RG3.
