Wow. Dropped?

This was my first year playing fantasy and I dropped Chris Johnson after week 3. Stupid me. Not giving up on a guy like that so quickly next year. I guess the problem was that I drafted him in the first place. I also drafted Pierre Garcon, Greg Jennings, Aaron Hernandez, Kevin Smith, and Matt Stafford. Needless to say I'm not doing so hot. I'm actually doing better in a league where I auto drafted.
 
Could always be worse, I auto drafted in a league and had a guy who was supposed to be the #3 RB for the Redskins. Kevin Ogletree had his breakout, this guy could be the next Laurent Robinson, game so I dropped this #3 RB that no one ever heard of and set up a waiver pick up for Ogletree.

This was Thursday night and the man you've probably figured out by now, Alfred Morris, had his big break out game on Sunday. I forgot all about the waiver pick up I had put in for Ogletree. Hell I forgot I even had Morris to drop for him.

Anyway, hilarity ensued.

My buddy straight up dropped Willis McGahee early in the season and I immediately snatched him up. I asked him why he did that, he said that he had the same bye week as Michael Turner. I told him that dropping him was a pretty dumb move and he could have traded him for something. I'll gladly take a free agent top 15 RB any day of the week.

He could definitely be back. Not certainly but at least wait to hear more about his injury.

And even if he isn't of value to you, someone could use him. I'm doing really badly in one league so I traded Greg Jennings to a guy who's 7-0 and might be able to use him in the playoffs in weeks 15 and 16.

2-3 weeks is pretty optimistic but he is worth keeping on the bench.

The Jaguars offense is in shambles which really hurt his production this year, I don't think Jennings will be nearly as productive as people think but we will see.
 
Doug Martin picking up my whole team on his shoulders. Might actually win this now. Also glad I didn't start the Vikings D.

He might not get very good yards per carry, but he'll still do okay because of the volume of carries. When your QB is either a gimpy Blaine Gabbert or Chad Henne, you're going to rely a lot on your RB.

He's averaging 5 a carry, best of his career. Listened to him on fantasy show Friday. Called running with mjd on xm satellite.

like i said before, it's a gamble. if nothing happens, oh well. if something happens, good. there's no one on the free agency list anymore that's worth anything, so if you grabbed cooley just in case, you can still drop him for someone else on monday/wednesday.

also, the skins/steelers game was a terrible game for the skins. perfectly placed throws dropped for no reason. absolutely pathetic. i'd rather judge cooley's future with the skins on a good game rather than that ridiculous waste of a game.

still upset about all those dropped balls. there was only ONE poorly thrown ball by rg3... it was too high. the rest were on the money. all dropped.

I sat Vick Ballard because Brown was supposed to play for the Colts. Put pitiful Michael Bush in his place hoping for a touchdown.

Wouldn't you know it, Ballard gets 15.5 points total and an incredible TD to win the game. Think I'll hold onto Ballard, he looked GOOD. Only needed him for a few weeks as a bye week Bro-ski.

He's warming my bench but I had Doug Martin and Matt Forte starting with Rashad Jennings in my Flex. Ballard was only ahead fo jennings by 2 points so it's really a wash for me. Great week for my RB. Martin may have carried me to a win here.

You have no idea. Phillip Tanner and Michael Bush are my starting running backs this week in my ATOT league. I currently have 42 points.... yeah, I think a loss is in the books this week.
 
zokudu, I may have missed something in this thread, but how on earth did that team get assembled? I can only assume that guy is the commisioner and did some serious cheating...
