Well, look at it for what it is. Salary cap football. Your salary cap is $100. If you can profit off players, you would actually be over your cap of $100. So, the total value (the value when you bought them) of your players can never exceed $100.

I wish that were true, but alas, in a 16 team league it's not. Mike Williams was on the block last night but my opponent this week was higher on the waiver wire and scooped him up. Hixon isn't HORRIBLE, but he's not my primary starter. Got no choice but to start him this week though. As long as Hicks is like he is, Hixon will get more targets. I hope anyway.

Woodhead, meh. He's not great, but he's not horrible either.

Tate is worth taking a flyer on and hoping for Foster to miss a game or two.

Shane Vereen as well is already a better option then Woodhead.

yikes. yeah, i guess stick with woodhead. that sucks, man. oh well, at least you'll be alright after the bye week. cross your fingers that your opponent's team gets injured lol

I had been thinking between the two back up RB's that I have, Woodhead and Kendall Hunter, that Kendall Hunter would be who I would want to drop first.

Do you think Woodhead is worse than Kendall Hunter?

I kinda like Tate, but he's a gamble. Vereen just hasn't produced points this year, and he didn't play at all last week, did he?

I've been praying to every Fantasy God and Demi-God there is, that my opponents team will suffer.

I think it's time to offer a sacrificial virgin, just to be on the safe side.

He won't produce points unless Steven Ridley goes down, but he has more talent than Brandon Bolden and either is a flyer pick.

At the point you are, you are hoping for an injury. Woodhead isn't going to be consistent. I would keep Hunter and hope Gore misses games, he gets injured every year and misses at least 1-2 games. Same with Foster and Tate, same with Ridley and Vereen. You are gambling on the starter getting hurt, but thats all you can do.

RB was important this year and should have been selected with your 1st two picks frankly, you just need to ride with what you have. Your bench is there to be a gamble,

Basically, your team is terrible and you are screwed at RB. Your only starter is DeMarco Murray and now Felix Jones for the 1-2 games that he will miss. Thats it.
 
Both my RB's are on BYE week so I have 2 crappy ones in. Thinking about a couple others options, what do you guys think.

Danny Woodhead

Most likely keeping moore in but im not sure about woodhead.. he usually does OK but not great.

Thanks for the advice. As for knowing to pick RB's early in the draft, ehh, it's my first year. I don't think my team is terrible. I know my RB's are weak, but it is what it is. My record is 5-1, I'm first in my division and 2nd overall, I'd hardly call that terrible.

Yes, in a 12 team league, a team stacked like mine would suck, but if I were in a 12 team league, I'd have more to choose from. Alas, it's 16 teams. It is what it is.
 
I have Drew Brees and Big Ben. I'm thinking of trading away Big Ben (since I don't need two top 10 QB's) to someone who has only Cam Newton. Am thinking of asking for Julio Jones. Is this a laughable trade? His team isn't going to win but Big Ben would certainly give him more pts than Julio Jones. On my roster I have:
Austin
Harvin
James Jones
Steve Johnson (Bench)
Malcolm Floyd (Bench)

My RBs are Richardson, Lynch and McFadden. He also has Frank Gore but I'm assuming he's not willing to trade for him.

16 team league its not nearly as bad. Still should of picked a RB instead of Cam Newton in the first round (presumably)

If you actually win with that team, that would be a miracle for sure. Just saying
 
I would laugh at any QB for a WR with that much value. He has Cam so what? He needs to start one other QB on Carolina's bye week? What value does another QB such as Ben actually provide?

RB and WR are the most important positions, by far. You aren't losing much going from a top 10 QB to a QB rated 11-20. With RB's and WR's its a huge drop off. TE and QB are less important than D/ST and Kicker 😛

You want a top 10 WR like Julio you need to offer me Ben + another WR that combined would provide value to me.

No such thing as a bad offer; what the worst that can happen? He declines it. No idea why people get so bent by someone sending an offer they think is out of line; everyone values players differently and all you have to do is hit 'decline' if you don't like it.

I get all kinds of crazy offers, I usually just say not thank you, or I counter if I want to get something going. /shrug

We have 3 WR and a Flex spot. I'm shocked that people are so positive about Cam. His yardage has dropped every game and he's playing two tough Defenses (Dallas and Chicago) in the coming weeks. Maybe I'm wrong.

I understand the argument in terms of WR/RB vs QB's. I'll keep shopping around but i just wanted to unload Big Ben while he's running fairly hot and get a good deal out of it. I wanted to see if I could get a good RB/WR out of the trade but i'll also go for a good TE.
