RITT - quite a little run there huh?

You think it's stabilizing? I always like to think I'm going to outsmart people and short it. I gotta believe there will be a ton of profit takers now that the big run appears to be done. It's still tempting for me to short it, but I'm not a huge risk taker.

edit: Neither Etrade nor Zecco let me short it as they don't have any shares to borrow....weak..

RITT was 11.25 when you posted this. Now it is 9.20.

Ya...ETrade and Zecco really F'd me here. I had a sneaky hunch there would be loads of profit takers after a huge run like that. I wasn't going to put a lot in, but at least would have made like $350-$400. A little fun money for the weekend :)

I haven't been in the game long, but is there anything I can do to short shares if my 2 accounts won't let me? I feel like I had a great opportunity to make money, but I just couldn't do it.

You can trade options, but Ritt doesn't appear to have them anyway. So afaik, if you can't get shares to short then no.

lol $100m market cap on vaporware...

All these penny stocks are trash. But I just made 41% last night on RYUN (thanks Azurik!). So WTF, Im gonna be a crazy ass now. :awe:

Its all about the trade. Check this out:

5 day - heavy selling

z

Today - selling over?

Let me add that I dont want to "lead you into temptation". I sold my RYUN at 1.50 and it closed at 1.74, because I was afraid of being greedy. I have no idea what JAMN will do as its been under tremendous selling pressure the last few days falling like a rock. I only bought because it looks like the selling has abated if only temporarily and maybe it will retrace, even if it is a crappy piece of crap.

I'm not ridiculing your trade at all. I just find it funny that these promoted stocks can actually trade like this. Now I just need Az to find the next one from the ground floor...

So I got bored and started googling RYUN. I'm somehow fascinated by these lightning quick pennies, despite never really having the guts to get in on it.

it looks like the pump message on investor boards is : They've hired a bunch of heavy hitter execs and they wouldn't do that if there wasn't something big coming in the future.

Reading the press releases:

The president has a history in MMA and was a manager for armani along with some nightclubs. Can't find much on the guy ("john wood" too common), can't find linkedin page.

the COO comes from Lululemon and Nike, but what the press release doesn't note is that since 2009 he's be running "Exit 21 apparel solutions" Which has no website and the top google hit is a linkedin page. Failed company?

The CEO comes from Nike and was also a partner in Exit 21 (also not mentioned in the press release)

The marketing director comes from lululemon, Reebok, and abercrombie & fitch. looks legit, though her facebook profile is her in a bikini.

so, who knows. Though I find it really odd that there's no mention in the PRs of the tiny company the CEO and COO were running together for the last two years.

interesting story but we'll see what happens. personally I'm not touching it with a 10 ft pole.

For the valued investor, look into sgcg.de. They will be growing quite nicely in the years to come. No scams here, promise.

Today's candle does look favorable for something positive tomorrow, if only temporarily.

For those that study charts here, does any use volume profile analysis much? I've been using the it past few weeks and it can definitely be useful.

Boo ya. Lucked out and made about 1% yesterday from my impromptu, piss poor decision to buy in Friday. Was expecting another "Libyan crisis" (very short pops, general downward trend).

Hope it pops again so I can cash the rest out. About 66% cash right now.

RIM reports tomorrow. Trailing P/E of 6-ish. How much lower can it go...

LOL! :)

Hey, I bought RYUN at .31 and most people following me bought it in the .20's when they dipped. That is "almost" as ground floor you can be at without being one of the insiders. This year I've been on fire with them, but don't want to jinx myself. It's been "almost" too long without a big loser. Just small reds I quickly got out of.

Though I did call everyone to get out too soon, but I had reasons for this as there wasn't (key word: wasn't) a lot of money trying to promote this thing. They may have done something I wasn't privy of. I always look back and say, "aw shucks", but never with regret. Emotion is a bad bad way to play pennies and the next thing you know, you pour even more money on the next one and end up losing. The key is to be consistent and level-headed.

Then there's people like FelixDeKat who runs off of my plays and manages to make money on it, haha :)

HUGE year for pennies, but the game is changing once again. Too many people are getting in too early and so now the promoters are shifting strategies... not that you can't adapt to their new method ;)

You're welcome, but it was your own call to buy and sell, I only tipped the name for you to play with.

One of my subscribers didn't even follow my alert to sell and kept it. He had no reason to and he admitted as such. He said it was just his guts even though I kept pressuring him to sell since I had no evidence this was a long-term pump.

I ended up making a tidy profit, but he turned $6k to $30k before he ended up selling and overnighted me a poster with RYUN's stock chart on it, LOL.

He's an ATOT member, but I respect everyone privacy, so if he wants to come out and chime in he can, if not, well, that's the only story you'll hear.

Has anyone ever had trouble selling/getting out of a penny stock when the time comes? I'd be afraid of not being able to dump it. I don't do penny stocks so not sure.

snail,
Thanks.

I am assuming this was referring to my post above. In which case there really isn't a need to get into another discussion on this like people seem to do. Some like TA, others FA, others both. Shrug, whatever works it hardly matters. I personally use it at times because I often don't care about the company, just in and out. And I've never watched Cramer.

That just depends on the activity present. Volume can't always be a good indicator on this since someone could simply be buying large orders, but generally on very high volume there are several players working it. This has happened to me as well so I as well don't bother as much with pennies.

i have a crazy idea, buy DIS right before cars 2. Thoughts?

Not sure about DIS but I recently bought CRWS. Go check it out. All those Disney bedspreads and blankets. CRWS makes them. 30% of their busienss is Disney.

I am fairly confident that CRWS is undervalued. I think there was a brief discussion on it a few pages back.
