my thoughts: romo is my only qb and will be upgrading in rivers and also less of an injury risk. i get a decent replacement for megatron in v.jackson and a high upside player. guy im trading with loves matching qbs to their wrs (see: rivers/v.jackson) and has stafford as his other qb to pair up with megatron.
bolded is what im worried about. hard to trust romo for the year.I wouldn't do that. Once romo is healthy and his receivers are healthy, he'll be fine. It's not like Rivers has been doing much anyway. Calvin is just too good to give up right now.
I'm a bit scared to ask who you gave for Jordy. I assume you picked ray rice first round. Who was your 2nd round pick? But we're a little beyond that, week 4 already.
Looks almost like it would have been Antonio Gates, 14 team league remember.
I traded Willis McGahee and Dustin Keller for Nelson and Cooley. This was before I had picked up Sidney Rice and Simms-Walker from waivers.
Yup, Rice 1st round and Gates second.
I'm going to try to offer him Gates and Rice. Thanks for the advice fellas.
What do you guys think about this trade?
Side A: Aaron Rodgers, Stevie Johnson, Ryan Mathews
Side B: Tony Romo, Hakeem Nicks, Darren McFadden
I'm thinking it's pretty even and beneficial to both considering Side A also has Rivers. Side B has a QB problem in Romo, also has Andre Johnson at WR. The RB swap could end up being a wash if Mathews continues to produce (and the same can be said for McFadden). The big difference here is replacing Romo with Rodgers...
What do you guys think? I'm side B in this scenario btw. QB is huge in this league and Romo is killing me. Luckily I'm currently in 2nd and 3-0 but it's one of those scenarios where my point output has been average but I've been lucky enough to catch 3 teams to start the season who have had really bad weeks or just bad teams.
So it looks like Foster will be playing this week? Will he be starting and will he be sharing carries with Tate?
