Should I trade Newton while he's hot? I think I can get a deal from a guy who had Peyton Manning and Sam Bradford. He also lost Colston. Think I can get MJD for Newton?

Need some trade advice. I was offered the following trade.

Gore and S. Holmes for Roddy White & LT or Hightower.

I'm pretty weak at RB, I have Blount, F. Jones, Hightower, and LT. I have pretty good WR depth with Roddy, Nicks, Welker, and Boldin. We start 2 RB, 2 WR, and 1 RB/WR flex. This is a PPR with 2 points for every 5 receptions.

Seems like a pretty fair offer, but let's see. I would rather give up LT than hightower. So that lets you start Gore and Felix(or Hightower) and your WRs are still solid with Nicks and Welker(though Nicks is banged up right now). Your flex spot could be your third RB.

So you go from Felix, hightower, roddy, nicks, welker ----> you basically swap roddy for gore

You also swap LT for Holmes on your bench.

I'm not really sure you need to make the move, unless you think Gore is better in your league than Roddy. You can always see what other RBs you can try and get for him

I think it depends on how you feel about LT, and if he will bring you more points at the RB slot. White is nice, but you have depth at WR (serious depth) so you could give one up to get a decent WR (Holmes) and a good starting RB. I'd probably do Gore and Holmes for White and LT.

I agree with the others that it could be a decent trade. Just keep in mind that Gore has a tendency to miss a a couple games every year.

I would definitely do that trade and give up LT.

Then pick up Kendall Hunter off of waivers as insurance for Gore.

The other option with this guy is Tobert for Boldin straight up. I offered him Nicks & LT for Gore and Holmes and he seemed OK with that too. I'm trying to get myself a true #1 RB so I'm not that interested in the Tolbert trade.

With the kind of desperation that guy has going on, you could probably ask for his entire team and get it.

Don't feel the need to get a better RB. All you're doing is trading a star WR for a star RB. I'm not sure how your ppr system affects values though, so I'm not sure if a RB would be more valuable. You might want to see what other RBs you might be able to get before making a deal. But if he'll take Nicks right now, you might want to pull that trigger since he's banged up

Definatly this. if you can keep White on your team and trade away Nicks instead do it without hesitation. I mean who wants Eli throwing to your WR anyways 😛

Any Giants fan/WR/coach. The key is getting Eli to actually do that. He always looks so damn lost out there.

Team 1:

RB:Benson, F. Jones, Tolbert, Wells, Hightower
WR/TE: C. Johnson, Fitz, Mike Wallace, Edwards, Amendola, Meachem, J. Graham

Team 2:

RB: Hillis, R. Bush, J. Stewart, Foster, Maurice Morris,
WR/TE: Wayne, Bess, Ward, Manningham, Clark, H. Miller

My biggest issue is its the team's #1 pick vs the 4th round (and 3rd) WR.

Pretty even trade. Team 1 can use the RB boost, they have two top 5 guys without Wallace. Team 2 really needs the WR help; Hillis and Bush is serviceable, and hightower over bush might be the way to go.

1st rounder for a 3rd and 4th is pretty even I think.
