You probably wish I had played Sanchez, huh?

Rather crazy, 5 of my players topped your team - but that's all FF is, taking the chance and getting lucky.

what about sanchez?

anyway, you murdered me this week. I didn't get much help from my RBs but it wouldn't have mattered much.

I had asked between playing Sanchez or Brees. Not that it mattered since McCoy has exploded for 20 points. I guess it's time to find a replacement for V. Davis though ...

ahh, gotcha. didn't remember, and I didn't see sanchez on your team so I wasn't sure. I'll take it, as long as I win in my other league

Even after starting ALL the wrong people...

I am up 79-75

we each have 1 player left tomorrow...

He has Moreno, and I have Orton... I think i have this in the bag...

My main league is tight. After this week I should be tied for 1st at 7-4 with 3 other teams. I have the points tiebreaker by a decent margin. Then there are 3 teams tied for the 4th spot at 6-5.

Had this trade go down in one of my leagues over the past week and obviously people are pissed off.

Randy Moss and Benjarvus Green-Ellis

for

Andre Johnson and Fred Jackson

The guys who made the deal are acting like they have no idea why people are bitching. Oh and it's a keeper league so that makes it even worse. To me the running backs are kind of a wash since this trade was made prior to today. However the WR are an obvious WTF.

Why do you say that? Andre Johnson has been injured all year and hasn't done much of anything in quite a few games. Same with Moss - so the guy who traded for Moss is thinking that "at least Moss isn't injured, has a change in scenery, maybe he will pick it up". Also, Benjarvus is a lot better RB then Fred Jackson - granted he has picked it up the last 2 weeks but they are both RB2 or RB3 options and neither is elite. Benjarvus is enough of a better option to offset any supposed advantage Andre Johnson has over Moss.

The trade is fine

This is one of the tightest seasons I've seen in my main league as well. We do overall points instead of H2H. I'm sitting in first by 100 points, but then the next 6 positions are only seperated by 25 points.

I put up a 50 point stinker next week and somebody puts up a 150 pointer and I'm in 7th. Yikes. this thing is going to be a photo finish.

Last year when Fred Jackson started (the first 3 games primarily) - he was a complete beast. When Lynch came back, they decided to go that direction and split their carries - neither had the greatest numbers. This year has basically been a tale of 3 RBs, but then we saw Lynch traded and Spiller hasn't played out very well (and a recent injury.) Fred Jackson is going to be putting up 15 points minimum, if not more each week.

Should i VETO this trade?

Cardinals D for Packers D...

it's the most fishy of all trades i have ever seen... its between boyfriend and girlfriend... gives the BF, the Jets D AND the Packers D...

I can't help myself, I have to do an "I told you so" post here. Posts below all from same douche right before week 7.

ivory is a good start. I wouldn't take advice from the guy who drops steve smith

So since that week I said was a fluke and to avoid Chris Ivory (again it was right before week 7's games), he has done:

Code:
WK OPP	ATT	YDS	TD	PTS
1	Min	0	0	0	0
2	@SF	0	0	0	0
3	Atl	7	13	0	-1
4	Car	12	67	0	4
5	@Ari	10	39	0	3
6	@TB	15	158	0	16
[B]7	Cle	15	48	0	4
8	Pit	7	7	0	0
9	@Car	12	50	0	5
10	BYE	-	-	-	-
11	Sea	23	99	1	15
[/B]

Granted, week 11 is OK, but after week 7, 8 and 9 - and with Bush and Thomas coming back (and Bush almost starting week 11 any way) who would have held on to Ivory for the week 11 performance? Nobody.

orton hillis and lloyd. seems you might be lucky rather than doing something right, because you are crazy for dropping smith for bowe...

I guarantee that Steve Smith will perform better over the rest of the season than Dwayne Bowe

And of course, I was crazy for dropping Steve Smith (Car) for Dwayne Bowe right before week 7, lets see how they have performed since then.

First Steve Smith (Car)

Code:
1	@NYG	5	75	1	13
2	TB	3	66	1	12
3	Cin	3	22	0	2
4	@NO	2	11	0	1
5	Chi	0	0	0	0
6	BYE	-	-	-	-
[B]7	SF	4	50	0	3
8	@StL	9	85	0	6
9	NO	1	9	0	0
10	@TB	3	47	0	4
11	Bal	4	46	0	4[/B]

Them some points right there.

And then of course Dwayne Bowe

Code:
WK OPP	REC	YDS	TD	PTS
1	SD	1	13	0	1
2	@Cle	4	45	0	4
3	SF	2	61	1	12
4	BYE	-	-	-	-
5	@Ind	2	33	0	3
6	@Hou	6	108	2	22
[B]7	Jac	3	81	2	20
8	Buf	3	16	1	7
9	@Oak	5	63	1	12
10	@Den	13	186	2	30
11	Ari	6	109	2	22[/B]

I know I sound like an arrogant ass but I just can't help myself - remember kiddies, don't take advice from someone that would drop Steve Smith for Dwayne Bowe. Or else you might be 11-0 in your FF league too.

But then again, I am probably just lucky since I had the foresight to pickup Brandon Lloyd and Jacob Tamme early, on top of the fantastic waiver wire move for Bowe. In all reality, I have gotten lucky - every fantasy football team has to in order to win, there is a lot of luck involved in this crazy hobby.

Proof of 11-0 victory

Ahmad bradshaw you are fucking worthless! !)($r&*!)#(&%!)@(*$!)@(#*!)@($!)(-&%$!)@($*&!@)($&*

No kidding. It's kind of funny, between my two RBs every week I can only get 30 points. If one has a good week (20+ pts) the other has a shitty week(5 pts max). Or they each get about 15. Just can't seem to get both on the same page on the same week.

congrats zen, it worked out. but I would give the same advice again. I'm glad you got lucky though.

congrats on 11-0 in your random league.

yo zen, you drafted a sick team bro

QB Jay Cutler, Chi
RB Michael Turner, Atl
RB DeAngelo Williams, Car
RB/WR Ryan Mathews, SD
WR Steve Smith, Car
WR Michael Crabtree, SF
TE Owen Daniels, Hou
D/ST Vikings D/ST, Min
K Lawrence Tynes, NYG

Bench Brandon Jacobs, NYG RB
Bench Thomas Jones, KC RB
Bench Johnny Knox, Chi WR
Bench Arian Foster, Hou RB
Bench Matt Ryan, Atl QB
Bench Austin Collie, Ind WR
Bench Demaryius Thomas, Den WR

glad I was able to keep my streak of picking the wrong QB alive. This week I started Orton over Fitzpatrick and Ryan. Go me.

whoppty-doo, if I didn't have all my bye's concentrated on one week i'd have a 11-0 team too, quite happy with 10-1. Besides, it's more about consistency and in my four leagues I'm 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.

You are basically the first person to say it's fine other than the two guys involved. WAIT A MINUTE. 😛

hell of a week in my main league

I'm leading the way scoring 166 points a game(2 qbs friendly scoring, rookie flex, 8rushing yds/point). Previous league high score was 216. I put up 238 this week. it all comes down the the playoffs though, and I could easily miss out
