Since Ryan Mathews hasnt really performed too well, wondering if I should drop him for either

Chris Ivory (vs. CLE)
Danny Woodhead (vs. SD) or
Brandon Jacobs (vs. DAL)

Or should I drop Tolbert instead for one of the 3 guys above?

Someone in my league is offering Anquan Boldin for an RB and he's got bad ones (McGahee and Barber are his starters). My question is, based on my current team, would it be beneficial/detrimental if I offered him Felix Jones and maybe Steve Smith (CAR) for Boldin?

I would definitely not do that if I were you. felix jones is heating up and steve smith still has value. you don't have the RB depth to make that trade, you are much deeper at WR

and tontod, don't drop mathews....don't

I actually had the same analysis but Boldin was just too tempting not to consider. In this league, we have 2 RB, 3WR, 2 Flex spots and a big bench. As there's a relative lack of good RB's everybody's gunning for them. All my guys are consistently decent but I'm having difficulty seeing a breakaway game from any of them. I'm gonna need it...

I was first in points in my league until this last week. Hakeem Nicks did nothing, Gates got injured, and Orton had the worst game so far this season. Still very close to the top in points, down by only 20 points, and I'm in 3rd with a 3-3 record. The top 2 players are 6-0 and 5-1, with the lowest points against. The bad thing is a couple of people in this league don't have a clue what they are doing and at least one hasn't made a single change in his lineup even in bye weeks. The top guys get the advantage and keep ahead. Pretty lame.

I'll be in the playoffs, but unlikely to get 2nd, let alone 1st. 3rd for sure. I have the best team, but can't seem to win the games.
 
I'm thinking of substituting Heath Miller in for Gates, regardless if they ok him for next week. The idea is that Miller will score points, and Gates might get injured again even if he does play given the type of injury(toe). I think also my lineup is strong enough that any points difference could be negligible.

QB- Kyle Orton
RB- Matt Forte
RB- Adrian Peterson
WR- Hakeem Nicks
WR- Mike Wallace
WR- Jeremy Maclin
TE- Gates/Miller

Still no word on the status of Gates.
 
need help, all my WRs are down this week (reggie wayne on bye, desean jackson & malcolm floyd are injured)

what two should i pick up?? i tried to get deion branch but someone outbid me during on the waiver wire.

Moss, Bowe and Holmes will all get you points ... probably 85 too. Mason and Holmes would probably be on the same level, just depends how well Holmes progresses.

Now that the trade deadline has passed, I think i heard VJackson will be eligible to play for Chargers on week 12. Dwayne Bowe will be playing against a weak passing defense, I would consider him.

Yeah, I know. I was sitting there watching the game with 5 minutes left prepared for the loss then when it came in under 2 minutes I was pretty close to turning it off and then saw him scamper in for that 35 yard TD. Needless to say I was pretty happy.

I'd consider throwing Branch in the flex spot over Hernandez. SD has a good pass Defense but Branch has more opportunity to make big plays than the TE. It's rough having Welker on the team too since Woodhead's become the safety valve for Brady.

Otherwise you can't really do much with your bench.
