sure, moss could have a big game, but percy should do better

So much for that thought. Really Minnesota? Really? Did AP even touch the ball the 2nd half? I mean wtf. Didn't even get half the projected points. Hopefully Romo pulls me out of this deficit that the Vikings put me in. I wasn't terribly worried about my opponent except that he had Brees playing tonight...

Decent fantasy production by Pierre Thomas today 🙂

Now I'm just hoping the Sunday's Giants vs Panthers game is a veritable shootout on the ground. It should make for a good game to watch, as well 🙂

Ochocinco @NE or Sims-Walker vs Den? I'm not sure Ocho is going to get a lot of points and he's on the road against the Pats.

Denver is tough against the pass, but I also don't know how Ochocinco will be utilized alongside TO against NE. I'd give a slight edge to Robin at this point.

It's such a hard decision, but I think I'll just see how it goes this week. Can't get any worse than tonight.

Alright, I'm torn here. I'm really high on Malcom Floyd but can't convince myself to put him in over TO or Roddy White (obviously). I could play him at the Flex (ppr league).

My RB's/Flex guys I'm playing are:

Ryan Grant
Jahvid Best
Carnell Williams

Bench has Peyton Hillis and Darren McFadden

Grant is a must start, obviously. As is Jahvid Best in my opinion. So that leaves me the option of playing Floyd over either Carnell or TO. Carnell is the starter. He will get touches, that's for sure. Plus, how good is the Browns run D, really?

So basically I need two of these three. Carnell, TO, Floyd. Thoughts?

Huge Romo fan but RT Colombo won't be playing Sunday Night. If you have a good backup QB it might be worth considering the option. Unfortunately I have Alex Smith, so I'm going to roll with Romo. Look at past NFC East games though. They are TOUGH games. Romo has a nasty matchup this week and isn't being helped by injuries to that O-line.

My fault with harvin, he was projected to have a big night on most sites. If it makes you feel any better I had hartley playing and Pierre on my bench

Always go with the RB option for Flex, especially if it's a starting RB. He's gonna get touches and yards, period. Floyd is the #1 WR on San Diego right now, and San Diego is a pass-first team (will that change with Ryan Matthews? no, it's just another option), but they also have Crayton now who figures to pull looks away from Floyd. TO is a risk because Palmer himself admits that he's got a lot to prove to be considered as good as he once was (Palmer, not TO). Caddy was surprisingly good last season, and yes, the matchup is beneficial.

Caddy IS your flex play until Floyd proves he's worth 80 yards and a TD estimate per game and Palmer proves he's back in top-tier QB form.

This si my team, I already played longwell and Colston, who else should I play this week? Thanks for your help, I'm new at this! I'm not sure if playing Forsett in week one is a good idea, but IMO its a better idea than playing jacobs, or I could throw a WR in the flex spot.... I'm playing Manning and Clark of course, the rest I'm unsure of.

Mathews Ryan RB SD
Manning Peyton QB IND
Colston Marques WR NO
Clark Dallas TE IND
Smith Steven WR NYG
McNabb Donovan QB WAS
McCoy LeSean RB PHI
Meachem Robert WR NO
San Francisco 49ers DEF SF
Jacobs Brandon RB NYG
Longwell Ryan K MIN
Wallace Mike WR PIT
Breaston Steve WR ARI
Cooley Chris TE WAS
Forsett Justin RB SEA

RBs go with mathews and mccoy.
WRs go with colston(duh) and steve smith.
for the flex I would start Forsett.

Assuming you run 3WR/2RB. If you have an additional Flex spot to fill, I'm gonna say Mike Wallace over Forsett just to be funny. Flip a coin, or use my typical advice and start the #1 RB in flex. I don't see Forsett doing too terribly well against SanFran, but he's a starting RB, so he'll see 15 touches for probably 60 yards or so, and at least 5 receptions for about 25 yards.

Don't underestimate Dennis Dixon's QB abilities. Wallace is a good #2 WR play in the flex spot. RB's are generally more reliable points than WR's are though, so temper your expectations either way.

I'd go Floyd over TO, Carnell in the flex.

I think I've locked in Carnell. Any insight as to why Floyd over TO? The way I see it, TO is going to want to make a statement week 1 (popcorn and all that jazz) and I figure the Bengals will want to do the same?

I have Jay Cutler as backup, but no confidence yet. I'm going to stay with Romo for now.

My dad had the same situation, Percy playing and Thomas on the bench. He wasn't happy lol

Pretty much, I trust Palmer to TO less than I do Rivers to Floyd. Floyd is the #1 too (if you don't count Gates). Then again, I do have Floyd on a couple of my teams and think he's going to break out this year.. 😀

I need some help with my auto-draft league. Need to pick 3 WR and 2 RB.

DeSean Jackson
Johnny Knox
Derrick Mason
Jabar Gaffney
Mike Williams (TB)

Michael Turner
Ryan Grant
Thomas Jones
Jerome Harrison

I'm thinking DeSean, Gaffney, Mike Williams, Grant, and Harrison. Wow I have a terrible team.

Holy crap my team blew up predictions so far. Even though AP had a terrible opener, the rest of my guys destroyed. Matt Forte has almost 4x his projected points, Ochocinco has 3x, Hakeem Nicks 2x, and everyone else is above projections except AP. NFL.com is now saying I'm expected to get twice as many points as my opponent in week 1. GOOD PICKS!

I still have Romo later today and Antonio Gates Monday. My bench didn't do anything surprising, although Jay Cutler is above projections. Barring any injuries, I think my team is going all the way.

Screw you guys who talked me into starting Benson over A. Foster. OK, not really I mean who would have expected that but holy shit anyway.
