LOL watching the Oil this season has been more than depressing.

3-0 already tonite, haha.

They are unquestionably the worst team in the league right now.

Carolina might have less points, but that'll change very quickly, as unlike Edmonton, they aren't absolutely hopeless.

Seriously, biggest fail of a season i can remember ever, & we've had some bad ones, too.

yep. brutal.

and i have to say that having a mini-camp instead of a 4-day break is just embarrassing when you return to the ice even WORSE than before.

piss poor team with no leadership and Quinn & Renney are failing already.

all aboard the FAILboat. Coilers, Spoilers... call em what you want but this team blows bad

Well, we're past the halfway point and I have to say I am pleased with Buffalo's season. They're 1st in the division and 2nd in the conference. They have the leading Vezina candidate and a strong contender for the Calder. Most things are clicking right now. I just wish their offense was more potent, and, on a similar note, their PP. They still haven't found a way to get Ottawa out of their heads yet, which could be disastrous should the two teams meet in the playoffs.

Let's Go Buffalo!

Agreed on every point, except I might even say the top contender for Calder at this point, the kid is amazing. Seems like maybe removing McCutcheon as PP coach has helped. If they get that going and the top 6 continue to improve, this team will be dangerous.

In other news, anyone see this beauty by Robbie Schremp:

Holy frig if these are for real, that's one of the biggest shake ups in a long time. I'm curious who the Leafs gave up. I feel they are going to end up loosing a lot of their offensive production. Phaneuf will be popular in Leafdom with his super physical play. We will have to see if Giguere helps their goal tending. As a Sens fan I hope not 😀.

TSN link has been updated with the details. Huge shake up.

Unreal.

The losing just doesn't stop.

How many losses in a row now?

It must be nearly 20.

13 straight losses, going for 14 tonight against the Canes. and one win in their last 21 games.

And they DID NOT win a game in January. Has anyone went a month without winning before?

This team is good at being bad. They're LOWERING the bar.

OMFG the Oilers beat the 'Canes! :awe:

I'm dumbfounded...they found a way to win after finding countless ways to lose, & only lose, for a month.

Perhaps they let them "win"? 😉 Our locally house league team will do that sometimes if the last place team has lost most of their games and it's not going to affect the standings at the end of the season.

who spiked the cane's water supply? (Oilers) not winning for a whole month...

hallelujah........... undefeated in February... lol.. they're on a run now, watch out!!

seriously, if they end up winning a few here and there, they're just screwing themselves for the draft.

continue the Fall for Hall!

You mean like Toronto?

I don't understand how Glen Sather can be such a bad GM yet completely bend over other GMs time and again with trades. Ales Kotalik and Chris Higgins are just bad hockey players. Horrible. Christ, Kotalik was benched despite making $3 million and signing with The Rangers less than 60 games ago!

But no, just like Montreal in the offseason, Calgary has no problem taking on their horribly ill-advised contracts. It makes me want to puke.

Kotalik started to pick it up towards the end of his tenure with the Oilers... I thought he was going to be good for the Rangers...

Rangers won this trade... I think the Flames gave up on Jokinen too soon. I predict he will catch fire in NY.
