the pens are looking great this year again. actually, they look like they're playing better than last year. playing some really solid hockey.

That was exciting. Buffalo tied the game with 17 seconds remaining. Miller stopped all 6 shots in the shootout and rookie defenseman Tyler Myers won the game with a slick move!

They are very close to being a dyansty. Hopefully the core of hte team remains intact for many years to come. I don't see them biegn as good as the 1980s Oilers, but they might be close. Maybe more like a 90s Red Wings?

Sharks win streak ends at six-games after shootout loss to detroit. The Sharks allowed two goals or less in six straight games.

Not a bad run.

I watched the previous game vs columbus, heh another shootout game and a slim victory at that. Hopefully they can step it up, but with Blake on IR, it'll be interesting...
 
aaaand the hurricanes are officialy the worst team in the whole league. awesome.

i already had tickets to some games, but im not wearing my schwag until they win another one. hopefully they can find a 5 year old to coach and bring up a couple more AHL players....or all of the river rats, they literally cant do any worse right now.

The season isn't a quarter over yet, but Ryan Miller has far surpassed my expectations. First in GAA, SV%, wins, points percentage, and 1 shutout behind the leaders.
Hopefully this is a sign of him taking his game to the next level and not just elevated play because this is an Olympic year.

I'm glad he's doing so well. I'm worried about the USA squad as is, if he was choking right now i'd have trouble sleeping at night.
