This is a disaster of a game.

The score is only 3-1 Hawks leading after 2 periods, but they are just walking all over us...i'm surprised it's not 6-1 or worse.

Oilers look lost out there :frown:

found the clip, check espn for a close up over the net replay.

im kinda surprised they let it count as a save, he caught it and the glove went in, but not the whole glove which is what i understood saved it. either way...cam ward has awesome moves when hes in a groove. he actually got a piece of the 2nd goal but it bumped his shoulder and slipped in anyway.

edit: better video with replays

Yeah, that save was nasty. He made another sick glove save too. It really changed the momentum in the game, but luckily the pens managed to recover.

Toronto never ceases to amaze me!

I laugh at the people who worship a team just because it is physically the closest one to them.

Toronto is TERRIBLE. They were bad the years they barely made the playoffs, but the last one and this one are exceptional.

yep and just like Grapes said on Coaches' Corner, they don't have a Savard to feed Kessel the puck so he's not going to make much of a difference.

Leafs are in trouble...... WTH happened to Toskala and "the Monster"... LOLLLLL how's your new D-corps makin out..... hahaha suck it Burke

Burke can't fix a problem bigger than he is. It goes deeper into the ownership where they have too much say as to what goes on.

This is why Ferguson couldn't do anything either. At least they have drafted right the last two years...

Grapes is 90% hot air

well it doesn't matter now, Savard is out 4-6 weeks with a broken ankle, so all Grapes' blowbaggin' about him being snubbed for the olympic team was for naught.

Looks like it's one of those games for the Senators tonight... Down 3-0 after one period. The coach will eat theem alive during the intermission.

BTW, Pekka Rinne (Preds goaltender) is a funny name.

Yeah, it doesn't really make sense. I was pretty upset when the Pens lost to them, but now it doesn't bother me as much since it seems like they might actually be good somehow.

And 5 of their 6 wins are against: pitt, san jose, boston, detroit, LA. All are very good teams.

Oilers with a huge 6-4 win after being down 4-1 to the Jackets!!!!

Penner and Hemsky with 5 pts each!! I think Quinn might have found a great first line 🙂

i didn't see the Caps game last night but he was finally held off the scoresheet except for a minor penalty in the last minute of the game!

That's what happens when you put a real coach on the bench. Dave Tippet is a great coach. He got shafted last year in Dallas because of all the injuries. The fact that he almost go Dallas into the play-offs with mostly call ups from the minors says something about his coaching.

What's your definition of "very good team"? Pittsburgh (1st) is the only one of those teams that are in the top 10 in points percentage. LA (15th) is the only other team on that list that's even in the top half of the league. San Jose (17th), Boston (18th), St Louis (18th) and Detroit (T18th) are all below average in performance so far this season.

Why oh whyyyyyyy does Buffalo make me fall in love all over again every single year? Please, don't make me regret it for the 3rd year in a row. Alas, I can't help but love the way they're playing right now (averaging 38 shots/game :Q).

At least it's fun while it lasts (hopefully through June). 😛

As a Sens fan I normally hate Leafs fans. This year I pity them. Like what the frig. The way they look now they traded the next 2 #1 draft picks away for Phil Kessel. That sucks.

Because of where I am in the states now I can only watch highlight reels. But the Sens game last night looked like quite a game. I'll take that point thank you haha.
