Woo hoo, here we go Av's against the Sharks. I was hoping for this matchup as we seem to match up really well against them, I don't think they can hold with the young players' speed.

Hopefully this will be another year with the Sharks going out in the first round.

yah I wanted the sharks instead of the damn hawks.

Very excited for Wings / Yotes and Habs / Caps.

Theodore is 17-0-3 in his last 20 starts?!!?!? 0_0

I'm glad it's them and not the Rangers. NYR would have been humiliated. I think the Habs can put up a win or two.

No, it's more happy than that you see cause he got past the first round :(

Also I refer to exhibit A below:

^_^ I just bust the chops of every sharks fan!

I am rooting for Chicago to take it all, because I feel they play the most like an entire TEAM

I think you just picked the two worst series' on either side.

I think the best series' will be Kings/Nucks and Pens/Sens for the first round

The Avs have a tough road ahead of them. The Sharks are fully healthy, and have been for a while. Nabokov has also been solid over the past few weeks.
With the Sharks 8-1-1 in the past 10 compared to Colorado's injuries and slide into the playoffs, I see the Sharks in 5 or 6 (Anderson is capable of stealing one or two).

Avs fans basically have to hope for another collapse from the Sharks.

I agree with that - I think it will be sharks in 6, but as an Avs fan I have to hope. If they do beat the sharks, which is one of the only teams I think they could have beat, they will lose to whoever they play in the second round.

How do you not call for a single upset? As a canadian I assume you actually watch hockey? Do you know when the last time the playoffs were that easy to predict? There is always at least one upset, guarenteed.

I will go with Yotes over Wings myself.

I don't see too many likely upsets when I look at the matchups. Yeah, Detroit/Phoenix will be close, but that is a 4 v. 5, not really an upset in my book.

Other than that, most likely is probably Philly over NJ, and I'm not picking against the Devils :D

 I wish, but sadly, they will fall apart as they always do. Probably in the second round.

If being a sharks fan has taught me anything, it's that you can't take for granted that your team is going to flame out in the second round... they may well shit the bed sooner then that.

Playoff Hockey... woo....

Haha, fair enough. I should know better than to look past the Kings. In fact, I really think Luongo is going to get gassed from all of that Olympic play and flame out. I'm eternally pessimistic when it comes to the Canucks. :(

I just hope the Wings go down.

If we get another Pens/Wings finals, I'm not watching hockey anymore.
