And for all the Colts fans trying to justify that totally classless act by saying it was all in good fun, I must have missed when you also booed the Punt/Pass/Kick kid in the Chargers jersey.... you know, wearing the colors of the team that you were actually playing that day.

We REALLLLLLLLY needed another Patriots ass-kissing thread. The media just hasn't quite ruined this season with their over-glorifying of it, so let's make some MORE posts on ATOT.

We might as well just turn P&N into the Mudslinging (AKA: "Yeh-huh! Nuh-uh!") Forum and make it the gathering grounds for Politics, News, Religion and Sports.
 
I don't think you can even begin to have this debate. Greatest team is brought into the scope of the argument when there has been a consistency of accomplishments over time.

They might be having one of if not the greatest SEASON of all time, but that in no way qualifies them as the greatest TEAM of all time.

That would be like comparing the 2003 Marlins world series team to the 40s/50s Yankees.

What exactly is a bandwagon fan?

I've always rooted for the pats and hoped they've done well, mainly because I like Brady as a QB. I wanted them to go 16-0 and win every postseason game. Hell I'd love for them to win the SB if it's not against Farve and the Pack. Yet I still tell anyone that I'm a Ravens fan first above all. Does that make me a bandwagon fan?

I take it that you aren't really a fan of the NFL yourself. The current Patriot team (the one you are claiming that I don't know anything about) was basically overhauled in the offseason.

Their entire WR corp was replaced this past year. They got rid of their starting RB last year (Dillon although he was sharing carries w/Maroney) and they overhauled their D by adding Seau and Thomas.

I would think that the greatest members of the greatest team of all time would have to be part of the team for more than one year. To think that this team would still be at this point without Moss, Welker, Stalworth, Seau and Thomas is pure lunacy. They would be good....but undefeated?
