Sounds like you have personal problems. I'd suggest a few good psychiatrists and some looking in the mirror. Really, to hate a team because problems you have with other people's actions? You must be a very sad person to take things so personally.

We will never be able to accurately declare a "greatest" team of all time in the NFL. The rules/procedures have changed so much over the years that comparing great teams from the 70s and 80s to teams now is almost as bad as comparing a rugby player to a football player.

A small example:

Someone in this thread mentioned Randy Moss. Sure Moss is an amazing receiver, but how can you compare his accomplishments to Jerry Rice? When Rice played pass interference calls happened much more rarely and receivers were getting pummeled off the line of scrimmage. Would I say Rice is better than Moss? Probably not, but on the same note there is no way I would say Moss is better than Rice.

The '89 49ers would easily beat them. It's also the 49ers that gave them a 1st Round draft pick for next year. Great....They may win the superbowl and get a 1st Rounder.

You can't really call them best team of all time if, in the same season, they are caught cheating and require the services of a degenerate sociopath like Moss that no other team would touch in order to have a perfect record. Not impressed.

They're definately on the short list of all-time greatest teams, but my vote would go to the Montana/Rice 49'ers with an honorable mention to the 1985 Bears.
