I'm pretty sure that neither the Spurs nor the Jazz give a damn about how many people are watching. They're still playing while the Suns and Warriors are not.

Hurray for boring basketball. The Spurs can't even sell out the first two games of the Conference Finals, and the TV ratings suck.

Hurray for winning championships. It's not the Spurs fault that you and other fans are not captivated by good basketball, but rather street crap.

Street crap? The Jazz are putting me to sleep by not being able to score or defend.

They got ripped so badly at the beginning of the game last night that I'm not surprised the Spurs let up on them. The score may not reflect that but the game was a snoozer.

i dont know about you, but if the finals are
Spurs v Pistons

which very well may be, this will be another low ratings NBA finals.

Stern brought this on himself for not giving Phoenix a chance by suspending Stoudemire and Diaw in that game 5.

they should definitely do it world cup style and make Jazz and Cavs play for 3rd place, that would be more exciting.

here's hoping for a Utah/Cleveland finals

At least it'll be a great series for fans who like solid, fundamental bball. You know, the kind that wins championships?

yeah...i can watch and1 street ball to see run and gun basketball

Anyone know how the high the ratings for the Detroit-Cleveland game were? I'm curious if LeBron is really attracting a greater audience.

Well he hasnt had a spectacular games so I don't think they drew that big of an audience. When he passes it, his people never make any shots. He just needs to be a ball hog since others in the team can't shoot worth crap.

wow. its seems like the nba wants to do spurs vs. pistons.

sheed pushes off varejao to make space. no call by the refs.

lebron was clearly fouled on the last play. no call by the refs.

what does'nt help is that no one else on cleveland can do anything either. hughes and varejao both missed shots after lebron missed.

As a Pistons fan I can say without a doubt that the Cavs will be a force in the coming years. Especially if they find a more innovative coach.

And the goaltending call, or that offensive foul on sheed, or that strip by billups, there were plenty of calls that went the Cavs way.

Pistons/Spurs finals was inevitable, GO PISTONS!

I love sports conspiracy theorists.

There were a TON of calls that went against the Pistons in that game. Many of them late in the game.

<--- lost almost all interests in NBA playoffs

what a low scoring game that was. Lebron, to be categorized as another Jordan, must at least take his team to the Finals, and doesn't seem like he could do that in the first 2 games. hopefully they can come back. i would watch a finals with him, Spurs v. Pistons? maybe tune in for the 4th quarters

Nuff said.

Brutal, why didn't they suspend him?

I can't believe I'm so anti-NBA for now - still angry about the Phoenix loss. I won't write a page and half but simply say Stern should step down now. Stu(pid) Jackson should never have been hired, but we all knew that.
