he has most 3point shots in the finals with jordan and cooper(whoever the third guy was) and has won 5 titles already. maybe he could.

Probably not, but if the Spurs win this one, he will get a good look by the HoF...

WTF SA got so god dam lucky! :|

No.

Yes. Horry is mr. clutch. Duncan choked a lot in the game.

Exactly my point...if Ducan had just made half his FTs, they wouldn't have been in OT at all. The Pistons were lucky to even be in that position.

You can't think of it that way. The Pistons knew what the score was and played accordingly. If Duncan made some of those free throws, the Pistons would have played differently.

Big Shot Robert Horry. We loved him when he was on the Lakers, and now San Antonio is seeing just what an asset this man is during the playoffs. He singlehandedly saved our butts numerous times, and what you saw tonight is what Laker fans have already known for years about this guy. He defines the word clutch, no basketball player in the NBA right now comes even close.

Great game overall, easily the most exciting of the playoffs. Game 6 should be great, expect Detroit to come out swinging.

Duncan struggled, but he's playing being covered by big ben and sheed, and I think those two together give him more problems than any other coverage in the league.

Game 4 of the 2003 Western Conference Finals on May 26, 2002. I. Was. There. :D

edit: D'oh, I meant 2002, not 2003! :p

They're all the same to me! :p

I love Horry (Roll Tide!) but he won't get a whiff of the HOF. He just doesn't have the raw numbers. We all know he has the intangibles though. However, I hope he gets MVP for this finals if San Antonio can put it away when they got back home.

I honestly don't think (outside of Jordan and Bird) that there's any shooter I'd ever want to have the ball more with a game in the NBA playoffs on the line. The guy defines clutch.

As a Laker fan I have nothing but contempt for the Pistons, mostly because they beat us last year. But also because of what their stupid fans did, just disgracing basketball entirely. I'll be glad to see them lose, I don't want there to be another NBA team coming close to 3 straight championships :)

i'm looking at the HD replay and he clearly caught the ball inbounds

stop complaining; spurs won fair and square

rip hamilton committed an offensive foul at the end; it wasn't called ... spurs would have wrongfully lost had that gone in

im saying he was out of bounds, making the other piston dudes go elsewhere, unaware that he came in wide open.

if that's the case, then that's the worse defense anyone can play

you don't leave ROBERT HORRY alone, even 24 feet away from the basket. that's his red zone.

Rasheed really blew the coverage, that's what it came down to. He went to double ginobili...stupid...they've got ben wallace back there if he gets by prince, NO reason to double and leave his man, particularly bobby buckets.

Bittersweet for me as a Laker fan ... my team wasn't in the playoffs (let alone the Finals) but I'm glad to see our man Robert is still doing his thing.

Err game 4 of 2003 western conference finals? what happened? I know it couldn't have involved robert horry, he was still a laker that year. and that year the west finals was mavs vs. spurs.

as for robert wasn't the one vs. the kings better? where I think kobe drove or it was dumped into shaq, one of them misses and divac taps the ball out only for horry to stand at the 3 point arch and nail the buzzer beater. if he missed the lakers would've been down 3-1 but instead tied the series.
