Certain deplorable people such as the majority in this forum keep thinking they can dismiss 50% of this country and they will go away. The world doesn't work like that.

That had mistakes in it. Even the vast majority of the black caucus supported it though. But you know what was at least refreshing, Biden admitted later that they made mistakes, especially with the crack cocaine sentencing. I mean at the time it was viewed as a higher level epidemic than other drugs, and they acted on bad info. He regretted it, spoken about it, I can at least deal with a man who can acknowledge his mistakes and grow from them, unlike the majority of the Republican party, which seems to be doubling down on Trumpism, save for a few.

Wasn't it his crime bill that actually acknowledged domestic violence as a real crime too? Either way, I know he was behind that change happening.

Really one of the only things I ever see locked up at stores (and it's usually only shit stores like Walmart, CVS, and Walgreens) are cartridge razor-blades. Which @ $30 for a 4-pack or whatever they were at I guess I can see why.

Thankfully hopefully shit like Dollar shave club and such have really driven down those ridiculous pricings lately.

Some stores, like those you just listed, have been known to lock up "ethnic" items. My comment was a joke, based on that.

Could have. I remember the time well. There was plenty of fear regarding crack cocain, there was plenty of concern about it being sold and getting more hooked. Many, many people of all ethnicity agreed something had to be done. That criminal reform bill was huge and for the time it was needed.
The bothsides dolts always forget legislation like that isn’t meant to last forever and needs to be modified as times change. That is an appropriate bothsides comment because nobody updated it.

If Joe Biden actually walked on water, cured the covid entirely world wide, wired the entire country coast to coast with the fastest WiFi, gave every kid access to college without raising taxes one dollar, and if Joe Biden got rid of Putin turned Russia into a democracy republicans would not give Joe Biden one iota of credit. No doubt republicans would say the same about Donald Trump and credit from the democrats, but the only difference.... Joe could actually do all of those things while Donald Trump would say he had when he hadn't.
