Looks like you forgot their '99 postseason matchup, RD.

Petey is the most dominant pitcher of today's era hands down, (no pun intended) I don't think he's worth the big bucks anymore, but he's still awesome.

Manny > Ortiz. This series Ortiz has come up clutch, but Manny overall is the best RH hitter in the league and easily a top 3 OF.

Sorry I don't agree, Ortiz hit a walkoff HR last night, and one 5 innings before. TORRE IS A DUMBFVCK. Even 2 innings before they had a base open and pitched to Ortiz, it's like staring instant death in the face... the guy had 140+ RBI's in the league...

EDIT: and Loaiza ain't no Rivera either

Just nitpicking, although calling Torre a dumbfvck is clearly more RSN spew, it was a really good game, and I'm glad we're going to win it in the Bronx.

If you have enough confidence in your pitcher to pitch to Big Papi with man on 2nd, you should have enough confidence in your pitcher to not walk Mientkavicz. It doesn't add up, sorry Torre. MANAGERIAL CHOKE.

 
Wow, what a game... Game 6 tomorrow, both bullpens shot, no lead is safe with either team, Wakefield's knuckler is so good it almost lost him the game, and it's almost time for the curse to kick in.

Sure going to suck to be a Red Sox fan when they lose this in 6 or 7.
