So Tom Brady wants to play ten more years. I can honestly believe a 48 year old Brady would play better than 39 y.o. PFM is right now.

Saying this type of stuff is going to be a problem for the team. Think he is the greatest ever (didn't think that when he took over for Bledsoe, but the 07 year changed that), but I doubt he can do 10 more years.

Who's got the stature (and more importantly Brady's trust) to speak frankly to him and say "it's time to retire"? Arguably Elway should have been exactly the guy to have that conversation with PFM but didn't for selfish reasons. It's pretty clear the only reason PFM is still out there is to break Favre's records, just like Bruce Smith played for way too long just to get the sack record.

Exactly. Potentially big problems for the team. Hopefully it won't ever get to that.
