LOL Jerry Jones
LOL Brandon Weeden
LOL Jason Garrett

I wouldn't be human if I wasn't ecstatic about 'dem Cowboys, but they can turn it around after being forced to bench Weeden.

In other news, we are hearing "fire Mayhew" chants in Detroit after a dismal 0-5 start after going 11-5 last season. They're trying to square peg, round hole Stafford -- it aint working.

Here are the scheds and my picks:

Thurs, OCT 15
Falcons (5-0) @ Saints (1-4) 8:25PM CBS/NFL Network (UPSET PICK)

Sunday, OCT 18th
Skins (2-3) @ Jets (3-1) 1PM FOX

Finally, a week I won't be disappointed! Cowboys bye week is my favorite football week.

Also, Cassel should have been starting from the beginning. Weeden is doodoo.

Don't why Cassel wasn't. Guy has experience and is a former starter.

I think this was another case of out-thinking oneself instead of doing what was obviously the thing to do.

I guess I haven't been paying attention, but that's what has been turning me off of the NFL as of late a bit.

Fans and onlookers are all stupid, then they do what we thought should have been done anyway.

As much as it pains me I think the Saints get dump trucked tonight by a couple touchdowns.

Ehh I am a Falcons fan and the Saints always bring it to the Falcons, esp at a home game. This could be Atlanta's first loses IMO.

You really think the Browns can beat the Broncos? I'm expecting a 6-0 start. :) Then we start losing next month. :(

When you predict the Jags to win, something is seriously wrong on the other end. :D

I bet the Colts lose by 21, minimum. If they keep it closer, I'll be very shocked. This might be the worst Colts team of Luck's career.

Line is Falcons -3 and 51 over/under. I'll take ATL and the over all day long, Devonta Freeman might score those two TDs by himself. NO defense is a dumpster fire and ATL won't care much about preventing garage time points once they're up big.

They got a little lucky beating the Raiders last week, and I think the Browns are playing OK.

I don't have much faith in Denver as Manning has very little to do with the 5-0 start.

Nobody ever said Manning was the reason they're winning. It's clearly the defense... so the question is can the Browns offense beat that defense? Maybe, it's definitely possible. Pretty unlikely though

Those defensive stats are going to take a pretty sharp turn when Denver hits competent offenses though. By the green bay game Manning better have his timing back to normal or it'll be a rough day.

Thurs, OCT 15
Falcons (5-0) @ Saints (1-4) 8:25PM CBS/NFL Network - Falcons should lay the wood on the Aints.

Sunday, OCT 18th
Skins (2-3) @ Jets (3-1) 1PM FOX
Cards (4-1) @ Steelers (3-2) 1PM FOX
Chiefs (1-4) @ Vikings (2-2) 1PM CBS
Bengals (5-0) @ Bills (3-2) 1PMCBS
Bears (2-3) @ Loins (0-5) 1PM FOX
Broncos (5-0) @ Browns (2-3) 1PM CBS - This one is going to be too close for comfort but the Browns are the Browns. They stink.
Texans (1-4) @ Jags (1-4) 1PM CBS
Fins (1-4) @ Titans (1-3) 1PM CBS
Panthers (4-0) @ SeaHags (2-3) 4:05 FOX - Not a big Cam Newton fan. He's athletically gifted but a showboater who has never impressed me with his football acumen.
Chargers (2-3) @ Pack (5-0) 4:25 CBS
Ravens (1-4) @ Niners (1-4) 4:25 CBS - John Harbaugh are going to cream the Niners and Jim will be laughing while it happens. In Santa Clara, they want Easy Eddie back as a once proud franchise is being run to the ground by the Yorks.

SNF
Pats (4-0) @ Colts (3-2)

Monday, OCT 19
Giants (3-2) Eagles (2-3) 8:30 ESPN - It's not that I think my Eagles are good. It's just that I think the Giants are worse.

I believe in the conservation of sports skill in any one city. As the Blackhawks have done well, the rest of Chicago has sucked. Now that the Cubs are doing well too that has to come from somewhere... so I think the Bears start to suck even more and give Detroit their first win

I was basically giving my reason why I was picking Cleveland (ugh!). I think the Browns will score, and perhaps make Manning use that noodle-arm of his to try and win. He can't, and that's my point.

Will the Browns win? Probably not, but I trust that offense more than I trust Denver's, and no matter how good a defense is, you can only win by scorning more than your opponent.

On one hand, the Cowboys can't lose. On the other hand we'll probably be another game down.
