What I do with what i buy on anandtech.

im a gamer
i enjoy playing the custom map on warcraft 3 called dota

I like to host lan parties for people battle and duke it out.
I buy what i need on anandtech to make awesome gaming machines for lan parties that i host.
so far, its going good but i need more stuff to continue my efforts.
my goal
64 lan gaming computers that can play battlefield 2 and hopefully battlefield 2142.

if anybody plays dota,
give the thread a bump

broadband modem

Interesting device,
i got the usb module of the broadband cards for easy connectivity between my desktop and laptop.

so far, its actually decent and the port is actually forward.
I paid $100.00 down for a 1 month trial.
All i really expect from this awesome little device is high speed fast downloads and uploads.

the bad thing is i have to do a 2 year contract paying roughly around $60.00 a month.
ouch,
hopefully it was worth it.
i guess i beats cable to the ground.

I love my sager notebook.
thats another story for another time

You can't be serious. But seriously, there are places on the interweb where you can write serious lines. Of course, it's best if you seriously keep up with it to up your readership. I seriously wish you the best of luck and I'm sure the serious blogging community can't wait for your oh so serious additions.

its decent
nothing too special
522 kb/s download
43 kb/s upload
lol
what the heck is that

slow uploads
i wonder how that will effect me in the long run
i also have a latency of 227ms
playing warcraft 3 will say it all if this mobile broadband is worth it
