"Well, creationism, in essence, is believing that the world began as the Bible in Genesis says, that God created the Earth in six days, six 24-hour periods. And there is just as much, if not more, evidence supporting that," O'Donnell said.

She fits right in with the Republican nuts on here.

Last federal election, only 3/10 of them were that crazy.

But you have no problem with a President who spent 20 years in the church of a radical leftist minster? Or hung out with former terrorists?

I'm not comfortable with any politician's religious views. It's not the same thing in this case, though. Obama's words and actions are decidedly leftist, but they're not "radical".

I don't think anyone is really shocked that Obama is quite left-of-center, but there's little criticism of his foreign policy and anti-terrorism actions.. which is somewhat surprising.

This looks pretty much like a hit piece meant to dig up and throw anything and everything they can at her in hopes that she loses.

Is what she said about creationism woefully stupid and/or misinformed/misguided? Yes or no?

OK you can name maybe one or two lefty's but it's 99% of the Republicans are religious radical nuts.

That tends to happen when you threaten to replace one church with another. You draw them together as opponents.

Why am I not surprised that Ms. O'Donnell is such a successful Teabag Party candidate?

http://www.citizensforethics.org/christine-odonnell-crooked-candidates

Washington, D.C. - She's been called a "complete fraud" by her former campaign manager, and a "perennial candidate who couldn't get elected dog catcher" by the state party chair, but today, Delaware Republican Senate Nominee Christine O'Donnell (R-DE) has a new moniker: one of America's Most Crooked Candidates. The bipartisan list is a project of Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), and now includes 14 of the most rotten candidates for federal office across the country. Two of these candidates were defeated in primaries.

Adding Ms. O'Donnell to the list was an easy call. It has been years since she had a steady job, and instead has been embezzling funds to finance her personal expenses. Ms. O'Donnell has been living at her campaign headquarters and having her campaign cover the rent, a practice prohibited by the Federal Election Commission.

"Why get a job when you can run for office and illegally have others finance your lifestyle?," said Melanie Sloan, CREW Executive Director. "It is astonishing that as a candidate for federal office, Ms. O'Donnell appears to be stealing brazenly from her campaign contributors."

Ms. O'Donnell also has a tenuous relationship with the truth. For years, she routinely claimed to have a college degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University; in reality she finally received her diploma a scant two weeks ago. Further, she has claimed to have won two counties in her race against Joe Biden in 2008; in reality, she won none.

"Ms. O'Donnell has no qualms about lying whenever it suits her purposes," said Sloan. "Americans have a right to expect elected officials to act with honesty and integrity. Sadly, Ms. O'Donnell epitomizes the antithesis of those values."

hristine O'Donnell Senate Victory Dogged by Financial Questions

In March, the IRS initiated an audit and placed a lien against her for $11,744.59 in taxes and penalties from the 2005 tax year.

"They made up an accusation about an IRS tax lien," O'Donnell said today on "Good Morning America," hours after winning the primary. "The IRS said it was a mistake. They cleared it up right away. We gave my opponent and the Republican administration, showing them that the IRS had admitted to a computer error. They chose to ignore the truth because they don't have a record to stand on."

Since 1994, Farleigh Dickinson University, in New Jersey, has sued O'Donnell five times for outstanding debts of about $5,000.

O'Donnell claims to have graduated from the school 17 years ago -- and claimed to have a degree during her 2006 Senate campaign -- but the school said she did not officially graduate until two weeks ago. In previous interviews, O'Donnell said the school withheld the diploma because of the money. But a school official interviewed by Politco.com said the degree was not conferred because she had not completed her coursework.

"It took me 12 years to pay off my college loans," she told "GMA." "I'm not a trust fund baby. Most Delawareans can relate to having to work hard to pay for their own college education. I was never dishonest about that."

In a March interview with Delaware's News Journal, O'Donnell admitted to living in a three-bedroom home with David Hust, a campaign staffer and Christian rock musician and paying half her rent – between $1,645 and $2,020 a month – with campaign donations because she uses the home as a campaign office as well.

"I am renting from the campaign," she told the paper. "I'm an unconventional candidate because I believe that we have to make sacrifices."

O'Donnell, who previously owned a home, was also sued by her mortgage holder in March 2008 at the height of her campaign against then-Sen. Joe Biden.

Just another fiscally responsible Republican...

Meet the New Boss...Same as the Old Boss.

The sad part is that real fiscal conservatives are laughed at because they are seen as out of touch with reality. The "average" person is bogged down in debt. A candidate who has no personal debt, pays all of his bills on time, and expects others to do the same is an outsider. This lady actually does sound like an average American. She takes forever to pay for things, she lost her house, she steals from work, and she blames others when it it's discovered (banks, gub'ment, blacks, whitey, etc). What a perfect candidate to represent the people.

Don't forget she knows witchcraft! Don't piss off a witch or she'll run for Senate.

It figures you'd go for that one; just can't resist the Fox talking points, can you?
My friends now joke that something about Kenya, maybe the strange diet, or the tropical sun, changed my personality; Africa to them seems a catalytic converter that takes in clean-shaven, clear-thinking Americans and sends back bearded Marxists,

Fox talking point or an actual quote and description of himself. Hmmm...

Anyway, it doesn't surprise me that leftists want to dismiss such things yet try to disparage someone who they hate.

BTW, I don't watch Fox so try again junior.

I included the quote (a sarcastic comment on his friends' reactions to his experience in Kenya) which you, of course, avoid.
For someone who never watches Fox, you certainly faithfully hit all their talking points. Web site, instead? Or is it O'Reilly's and Hannity's radio shows?

Nope, none of those. You can try to excuse his views all you wish but it doesn't matter, marxists/socialists never seem to admit they are what they are.

Gonad the Barbarian said:
That's cute and all, but Obama is demonstrably not a moron.
So say the sycophants, but there appears to be a difference of opinion.
Maybe you ought to learn the definition of "sycophant:"

a self-seeking, servile flatterer; fawning parasite.

Now, how is saying that Obama is demonstrably not a moron "self-seeking," "servilely flattering," or "fawningly parasitic?"

I guess your psychosis about Obama comes from the same brain defect that leads you to believe you can write.

I'm sure her pastor is all onboard with that family values lifestyle lol.

I don't give 2 shits about either of them- my point was that you people will accept anything to beat the people you hate on. By the looks of these 2 threads on this one candidate - you leftists really have your hate flowing. :)

Well, that's because you guys have already claimed everything else you can possibly hate. Mexicans, blacks, atheists, muslims, "liberals" (anything that isnt bible thumping conservative)

so the only thing left to hate is you idiots.
