Maybe I was wrong about Biden. Seems like they got him out of bed in less than an hour. On I mean he's only been an hour late to some of the most important meetings he's had to be at in the last week.

We're not facing Haley or someone else who could wipe the floor with Biden.

This was great for Biden, any focus on Biden and his campaign gaslighting us about his condition, all gone. Poof. He's still in it. Thus it was also great for Trump.
I'm seeing lots of GOP blaming the rhetoric - 'existential threat to democracy' . While he was registered as a republican, he made a donation to a democratic PAC ($15).

That poll I posted is right, most people I know who have been lifelong Dems and/or progressives have never been this disappointed in a presidential candidate we have put forward ever, but the party itself. I'm in my late forties, so you do the math, it's over quite a decent time period. I'd rather have Dukakis right now. The Dems are pathetic.

The comments I saw earlier were perfectly fine. We're going to get a lot of talk about unity, denouncing violence, turning down the temperature, etc for a few days from both sides because every other elected official is currently worried about getting their own head blown off and Americans typically expect this particular song and dance.

Nobody deserves another Trump administration, but really, the Democrats don't deserve us, it's pretty fuckin sad it has come to this.
Imagine in the age of Trump and the current GOP... somehow hitting an all time low in your party's popularity.

Holy shit the Biden campaign is not only completely dishonest by hiding, at least for many people, a lot of his decline, they are now pausing attacks on Trump, during the Trump convention when they're going to be shitting all over you, what a bunch of dumb motherfuckers. And you're going to criticize protesters who are protesting the horrific war crimes you're actually funding and enabling? Not the guy threatening democracy and all that is decent. I mean I could almost not blame muslim-Americans for not voting for this guy if this is the shit they pull off.

The NY hush money, Merchan won’t toss out the case because of Hope Hicks testimony is an “official act”. He’ll proceed to sentencing and let appeals court handle if a new trial is needed.
