Yeah ultimately they did it the right way. I shouldn't have doubted pelosi. She is one of the greatest speakers of the house ever with excellent political instincts most of the time. And especially at moments like these.

It looks so much better this way without the immense public calls of no confidence. Biden has so-called covid, A good excuse for him to go to Delaware to reflect with his, at this point, completely bonkers inner circle and make a decision. The covid is most likely a convenient excuse, and that is fine. Between Schumer, pelosi and Jeffries and probably others, it was too much to not step back and reconsider. Not sure what Jill and the other loons of the very inner circle that have isolated with Biden will do but they must see the writing on the wall.

depends on what happens.

If Biden hands the mantle to his Vice President, he is just going to say that is what Vice Presidents are for.

If Biden claims he is to old, to sick, etc well, who is going to argue?
 
Well, I will sleep better tonight knowing that it really looks like we will have a stronger shot to beat Trump again very shortly. The thought of another Trump presidency is the most disgusting and scary thing I've had to endure my entire life, just like millions of us.

I liked her before she ran in 2020 and thought she was a good speaker. I think she just had no story for why you should vote for her over any of the other moderate dems in the race. That won't be an issue this time.

I'm just tired of democracy not being respected! Like me and the wife talked about it.. we both voted for Biden in the primary.

Now the DNC ripped up the choice of the people twice in 8 years?? - first on a technicality of superdelegates, and now this?!?!?!

Fuck that.. I might actually just write in Joe Biden. And I'll be done with the dems.

What on earth are you talking about? Clinton easily won in 2016 and the only way things will change now is if Biden voluntarily stands aside.

Easy killer. The DNC didn't do anything with the superdelegates. People picked Hillary over Bernie by millions of votes.

Anyone who doesn't vote for whoever Dems end up running will burn in the deepest levels of hell, if there is such a place. If we're in a simulation, when they disconnect, they are going to be greeted by a bunch of people going "See? Wasn't so easy to spot the descent into fascism as you thought, eh?"
