I figure OCZ is still in business, their revenues keep rising, they're doing something right. Seems like more people like their products than not. And I'm figuring the people in the "not" column have names like "Crucial," "Intel," and "Samsung." I'm thinking especially Samsung, since OCZ wants a piece of their OEM market. Badly.

And just to point something out (not making any accusation) but I haven't met a company yet that doesn't send people to cruise forums and plant certain viewpoints, all in the name of product marketing. Heck, for all anyone knows, I could be one of them.

Price-comparison site: OCZ reviews 'questionable'
Trip Advisor revisited?
By Chris Mellor

Austrian price comparison site Geizhals has flagged up reviews of OCZ's flash products on its site as suspicious.

Geizhals said there had been a sudden positive spike in the reviews of OCZ's flash products. Geizhals manager Yannikos Marinos told Heise Online (German, auto-translated to English) that 55 products had been given 56 questionable ratings. These reviews, according to Marinos, came from a single IP address, with the host name assigned to ocztechnology.com.

There's more: Geizhals said that on 21 February, one of its site visitors appeared to have reviewed 249 items in just one hour. Ninety-five OCZ SSDs were given top ratings, while 154 products from other suppliers were given poor ratings, Marinos said. Geizhals said it is investigating other questionable rating activity in October 2011 and other dates in February this year, in which 30 to 40 OCZ products were favoured.

Several other local tech news sites – including internetworld.de, PCWelt.de and PCtreiber – have reported on the issue.

lol.. you must have missed that "massive bombshell" posted around here a few weeks back.

I think we counted something like.. 7 lost sales.. as a result of "massive public outcry" over such crazy antics.

Seriously though.. the only ones who give a crap about that kinda stuff?.. are the one's keeping score out of pure resentment. And most people don't live their lives like that for good reason.

A smoking gun wouldn't matter much to the royal "we." lol? There wouldn't be a problem if everyone got the same cherry charity drives with top tier NAND and QC. I'm only emotionally invested in providing information.

Hello,

I have a question, is there any serious issues with vertex 4? Previously I had verstex 3 and after 2 weeks of use I sent it to hell, so many issues.. I own rampage III formula mobo, anyone would be able to support me with actuall information and issues about this drive? I researched a bit but I still see that OCZ's customers are still splited half/half about happiness about OCZ's drives.

Thanks you.
