OCZ RMA experience

I had to return the memory I bought for my most recent build, as one of the two dual-channel sticks was defective... This was my first build in years, so naturally I was a little bummed out.

It turned out that they were out of the memory I had bought (DDR2-800 Platinum, a mid-range-ish line), so the guy I spoke too set me up with an upgrade. I figured maybe something marginally better, but I got back twin sticks of their DDR2-800 S.O.E. (4-4-3-15 timings, and they easily reach DDR2-1066 speeds at more relaxed timings) whatchamacallits, which retail for about $80 more than I paid originally (!!). Plus, my dad works a few blocks away from their offices, so I was able to make the swap in person 🙂.

Overall, I'm obviously very happy with their customer support... Just thought I'd share my experiences. I'll definitely be looking to OCZ for any future upgrades.

Thanks so much, I'm very happy to see that it worked out and you had a good experience. We very much appreciate your business and kind words.
