With such high demand for these babies, I would expect them to sell out in hours! :awe:

In all seriousness I expected this. I knew after the initial few buyers (that will pay whatever for the latest and greatest) got their cards that 7970 sales would stagnate. They could of had some of my money but they blew that opportunity with the ridiculous pricing. I guess they don't need it but then again after seeing their profit reports for the year...

Newegg has three models sold out, one with 3 the other with 8 in stock and three models with 20+. And even with the somewhat high price, only two models can be had for the MSRP - both sold out.

AMD didn't push the card out just to say they've done it, like Nvidia did with the GTX480, so don't expect similar shortages, but it seems to be selling quite well.

Don't you see the logic? If it's sold out it's because of poor yields and a paper launch. If they're in stock it's because they aren't selling. Don't let the spin machine get you dizzy. ;)

I think they have pretty good stock. Newegg seems to get more every week. I picked mine up 2 weeks after launch on newegg.
