i wonder how Max would do .... He is Level 92 and *everything* is at least 100 without armor or buffs.
If you ever feel your character is too strong, play some of the Oblivion mods for high level players.![]()
She still has much leveling left to do. For example, gotta practice more to max her restoration. Also will go kill tons of everscamps in one of my favourite houses to max my heavy armour and blunt skill. I can also use some better magic items. Just gotta find more rune skulls. Once I am say, level 50 or so, I might go to Kvatch and Weynon Pryory and start the main quest. Then go to the Shivering Isles. At the moment, I'm happy just exploring, killing and looting with just the one Oblivion gate open in Kvatch, that is I am totally ignoring the main quest. In fact, I am ignoring all quests, selfish bastard that I am. Don't even feel like getting recommended for the Arcane University yet.
I do plan to install some high-level mods like the Apocalypse dungeon and the like. I also plan one day to start a new game and never practice or pay for instruction. That should make levelling vewwy vewwy slow and make me very skittish when entering a dungeon.
you pretty much are doing what i did .. starting with Day One of Oblivion's release - except i found and closed *every gate* ... and also explored every known place ... and even a 'credit' for a "discovery" many months after Oblivion launched. We used to measure the height of the mountains on the forums.
i put well over 1,250 hours into Oblivion and its mods ... then i played SI, finishing on Level 2. i am pretty much done with Oblivion as i got my first 1200 hours in less than 6 months. i am the first on the TES forums - ahead of all the kids - to report 1,000 hours in game with a single character.
- the clock runs 'fast', you know.
