Back in HS, i had a fat Teacher, that would sweat all the time in class, and i was lucky that i had the class in the morning because by the end of the day, the entire class room smelled like ass from all of her sweating.

Fat people do not deserve to be made fun of because they are people and have feelings just like the rest of us. But seriously some people should care a little more of how others perceive them, and not be like "im beautiful just they way I am" ... because they really arent...

oh btw...to clarify, not that i'm taking laughing at her back. But the fact that she was annoying made it very easy to be to laugh at her, but otherwise I'm pretty laid back when it comes to appearances and such. Now i guess I'm still going to be called an ass but whatever. Why dont you all keep judging me :)

"not that i'm taking laughing at her back"

I'm judging your grammar, and you fail. Oh, and judge not lest you be judged.

Here's the thing. I would never laugh at a fat person, or make fun of them. And very rarely will I ever say a funny comment to a friend about a fat person. But I do look at them in disgust because they can do something about it. Diet+exercise=better body. Many of them just refuse to do one or the other, or both. There are even organizations out there that ambrace the "plus" size bodies that they have and they claim proudly that their bodies are beautiful. There is nothing beautiful about those bodies. And I dont want to hear anything about bad genes. Yes, genes do play a role in the level of difficulty you have transforming your body, but it can still be done. "Genes" is just an excuse.

agreed. we've advanced enough medically now that anyone who wants to can become a normal (relatively) size again.

EDIT: sure this may require thyroid therapy or hormones but I'd prefer the temporary side effects from those kinds of treatments than the long term side effects of being morbidly obese.

I agree completely.

This is similar to the whole smoking issue. People on this forum often deride smokers, call them names, ect, mostly because "Their diseases cost us money!" Smoking is a choice, and for many people, so is obesity. Both cost society $$$, but for some reason, people get offended when the topic of obesity comes up...

Edit: I understand that the OP wasn't being very nice about it, I'm talking about the subject as a whole.
