Not to get off topic but Carter was far from the worst. Most people don't have a clue what he did, they are just told by the right side that they should hate him.

Bush was the worst in my mind he is responsible for the death of 3000+ americans in America, 3000+ americans and 100K+ civilians in iraq and the financial trouble we are slowly getting out of now.

Honestly it's hard to say exactly who was the worst. It's extremely likely, in fact almost a guarantee that Nixon committed treason prior to becoming President in order to help his chances of election. And then Jackson directly violated a USSC order. Reagan also quite possibly committed treason with Iran Contra. Vietnam was a bigger fuck up than Iraq part 2, so Kennedy deserves a lot of flak for that. Bush 2 absolutely deserves criticism for his numerous major screw ups and getting us into Iraq while mismanaging Afghanistan. Obama has failed to fix the economy he inherited and had an American citizen killed without a trial. FDR interned Japanese US citizens. How many of our first Presidents owned slaves?

I could probably find tons more of every President. Trying to claim one President is the worst is ridiculous. And trying to claim Obama is the worst is not supported by the numerous shitty things previous Presidents have done.

Projections are not the same as actual results. All it would take is a dip in the economy over the next couple of years and we'd be looking at > $1 trillion annual deficits again. Our income rises and falls with the economy, but our spending goes in only one direction.

The projection isn't going to be much difference since short-term budget projections are quite easy to get right within about a 10% variance. Nowhere did I mention "a couple years from now". I said this year, and the CBO is only making a projection based on months of fiscal 2014 data if you read the link I offered.

That is a good point.

I don't think it's as simple as putting things in good/bad columns. Obamacare has been a pretty serious negative to me and millions like me, but it's also a pretty big positive to millions it has helped get health insurance.

Just a note: Kennedy in general was against further escalation in Vietnam. Though we will never know exactly how far he would have taken it due to being assassinated.
One he gained the presidency; Johnson dived in feet first on escalation (using the now known to be fictitious Gulf of Tonkin incident as a reason).

Gas under bush rose until he did what? Lifted the ban on offshore drilling, at which point it fell. If went higher in his second term as well.

How do you want Obama to lower gas prices? Produce more? We are. Reduce demand? We lowered our demand.

Other than lifting the offshore drilling, how did bush "influence people" why did it spike before he lifted, and why did it drop shortly after? how was he influencing ppl?

I'm going to ignore the rest. But the gas prices one is simply incorrect. Look at the 8 year or 10 year chart. You can see that under Bush prices steadily climbed until about September 08. You know, when the economy crashed. Then you can see how there was a gain as the economy improved to where prices have remained relatively constant over the last 3 years. At no point under Obama have gas prices reached the peak they hit under Bush.

To try to sell the gas price increases to Obama is not just dishonest, it's ignorant.
