why didn't he try when he had the house and senate?

For the same reason I didn't build myself a new house and drive across the country yesterday; there are only 24 hours in a day. Should nobody do anything in life if they could have done it in the past?

I could have gone to the Bahamas last year. I could still go this year, but then everybody will ask "Why didn't you do it last year?!?". I guess I'll just stay home and play with my balls. Great logic.

Goal post moved.

Rather blame the republicans then take responsibility.

lol figures you'd ignore what I stated. The point here is the collection of quotes from BHO on this topic.

Look, you got duped by Brietbart again. It happens, that's sort of what they do. What I don't get is after being duped so many times why you keep going back.

WASHINGTON – The National Immigration and Customs Enforcement Council and its affiliated local associations recently issued a letter announcing its unanimous 250-0 vote of no confidence in ICE Director John Morton and Assistant Director Phyllis Coven, claiming Department of Homeland Security leadership has little regard for the safety of Americans.

Calling ICE leadership’s policies, “misguided and reckless” the Council said ICE management has “abandoned the agency’s core mission of enforcing United States immigration laws and providing for public safety, and have instead directed their attention to campaigning for policies and programs related to amnesty.”

I'm not blaming anyone. They wouldn't vote on the Senate's bill and they won't pass their own. This is the result. Any plan is better than no plan.

Really?

Any plan is better?

We already have laws on the book to address the issue.

Because things have been going swimmingly for the past few decades?

Deporting 12M people is not a solution that anybody likes except armchair conservatives.

If a person is in custody and illegal; what is stopping ICE from being shipped out to their own country? Process

If a person's location is known and they have been ordered to be deported, why is ICE not collecting them and shipping them out? Resources

Why is ICE allowing people into the country when apprehended at the border and releasing them with a vague promise to appear in 2-3 years later when there is no address to notify them? Resources

See above. And why are you blaming only Obama for this? It is the government that works to manage the above bolded.

You posted a link showing the executive order and then posted there is no executive order. Again, what?
Executive orders are specific legal documents. The memorandums technically aren't executive orders.

However, there may be a legal case for arguing that the President has, in effect, issued an executive order in the case of the first memo as he uses the phrase "By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, I hereby order as follows:..." It would be more than a bit of a stretch to say that wasn't an executive order regardless of document title.

Edit: At least we can now start arguing about the actions the President actually took instead of arguing about wild ass speculation about what he was doing.
