OK, several things:

Strawman: The post had nothing to do with Obama and nothing to do with reality, actually. It was a problem with not only the previous administration, but BOTH HOUSES who voted all this stuff in that allowed unqualified people to get loans, then have them chopped up into Loan Hot Dogs and sold BACK to the banks as if they were Pate.....

This Pate Hot Potato then started where they kept selling it back and forth saying there was MORE REAL GOODNESS in every bite until enough people actually BIT INTO one and found that it was mostly crap and hot air.

And now we blame Obama for not magically waving his (rumored) bigger wand and making it all better in 2 years. Phegh.

As for MythBusters, I love that show. It would be my DREAM job (Structural Engineer), although I really do NOT like the stupid obvious questions:

"Jimmy in Alabama writes: If oil is lighter than water, will my sister drown if I hit her in the head and throw her in the Gulf?"

Seriously though? They have done things that I could tell you what happens in 3 seconds just by siting what I was taught in school. Some stuff is awesome (sword breaking, soda geysers, generally burning and blowing things up) and others are just filler.


Kind of like Anime!!!!! 😉
 
Unheard, sadly,more would probably be accomplished by going on Mythbusters, David Letterman and The View than a SotU address.


Besides, if you were PotUSA, wouldn't YOU want to get to go on Mythbusters? 😉
