You may not realize it, but basically everything you said supported my stance.

The idea that a company (large or small) MUST supply health coverage was a stepping stone to get universal healthcare passed. The left has been planning the takoever of healtchare at a federal level for decades. Making it all but mandatory for employers to provide health benefits does exactly what you said it does... funnel talent (and therefore money and profits) to the larger corps, who can withstand the rising overhead.

The way to stop this kind of funneling is for gubment to offer basic health coverage to everyone. That way small companies are not at a huge disadvantage when it comes to health care. Large companies will still pay more and be better, but it shouldn't be a life or death hostage type situation where you either work for a large corporation or risk dying because you can't pay for medical care when shit hits the fan.

I'm actually with Shorty. I like Perknose and his contributions, but he really does fly off the handle from time to time. It's odd that he can post in such ways "because he's posting as a member," when most non-mod members get vacations for posting the exact same attacks.

Eh, I think it's mostly an issue of people taking internet comments waaaay too personally.
