I fear its going to be nothing new same ol' BS as before. Tho one never knows... Maybe Obama will actually say something good and the repugs will go along with it and we can get something done? Doubt it but, as usual it's always fun just to hear the rupugs whine and cry about the pettiest bs points ...half the time they are just so retarded you wonder how they got in.

Somehow the government is spamming my inbox. So, I thought I'd post my SPAM on here! :awe: Now you don't have to go CNN to stream from work.

I'm sure more spending will turn the economy around and create jobs. If we keep doing the same thing over and over we'll get different results.

If it's just another highway bill, it will be just another waste of money.

Keeping roads and bridges up-to-date is never a waste of money.

If obama wants to create jobs, end free trade and force companies to build factories in the USA - but that will never happen.

^^^Kinda like tax cuts for the rich, huh?

It doesn't matter. GOP wants to crash the economy for the election, if it costs millions their jobs, so be it. He can come up with the best plan in the world, they'll block it in the House.

300 billion dollars.

Take a drink every time you hear "fair share", "party before country", "my plan" and "come together".

Unfortunately it's probably going to be more old-school Democratic type initiatives that don't do anything to address the real issue of overly-rapid globalization. Not that the Republican plan of thirdworldifying ourselves to compete is any better...

http://www.cnn.com/2011/POLITICS/09/08/obama.jobs.plan/index.html?hpt=hp_t2

$120 billion to extend the payroll/SS tax cut
$50 billion in unemployment benefits
$100 billion in infrastructure
$30 billion to refurbish schools
$10 billion to spur private-sector infrastructure

Total cost $300-400 billion

The plan would be paid for partly by closing corporate loopholes and raising taxes on the wealthiest Americans in the future, a Democrat familiar with the plan told CNN.

Except that's not what we've been doing. The nation's policies took a sharp turn to the right since Reagan, and you want more of THAT expecting it to work better.

Why doesn't he just give a tax cut to the "job creators?" I am sure if the pile of cash they are sitting on got just a tad bigger, they'd start hiring right away 😀

Yep, only thing he knows how to do - tax and spend. I predict it will be just like all his other speeches, I'll watch it and make sure I pay attention to this fucker and my middle finger will never go down the entire time.

I expect it to be spending more spending and some more spending after that. Obama had his chance. He should of included a lot more infrastructure in the stimulas. Obama was the coward who let Pelosi and Reid write the stimulas bill. Instead of aid to the states, unnessasasry tax cuts and spending on stupid pet projects. I am for infrastruture spending if he finds spending cuts to off set it. We don't have the money to spend right now. He really hope he goes after tax reform for all lower rates get rid of deductions.

lol.

Though to my surprise, Cantor did express some support for this.

He said a couple very surprising things about how they've been fixated on cuts and need to do some other things.

I think since the Repubs polls are in the toilet that they will be forced to accept the job plans that normally would get bipartisan support when any other President was in office.

So less than half the amount will actually have the potential to get something going forward; The rest is maintaining the status quo. That is not going to get the country moving forward.

I can just about guarantee his tax increases are going to be eliminate SS cap and mortgage interest deductions for the "rich". How else is he going to justify extending the SS tax break?

Easy, he'll make "the rich" pay for the difference by eliminating the cap.

Uhhh, are you joking? Serious? Just plan whack?

Look at your own post "Hey RETARDS, do what I say or fuck off!"

Then you sit there wonder if the two parties will ever work together?

I swear this forum just continues to regress, spew shit just because of partisan party allegiance...

Reagan increased spending. Bush increased spending. Obama increased spending.

The guy you are responding to wants spending cut.

BASIC SIMPLE FACTS HERE

You keep writing "to the right" or "far-right policies" or whatever else crap you continue to spew. Stop labeling stuff and just call it what it is. We know what the changes in tax levels have been. We know what the changes in spending has been. Talk about things as they are. Instead you just want to use labels "left" and "right" and anything you hate you just call "right" to avoid having to actually deal with the specifics. Call things what they are.

I want you to confirm it right now, in your view is "increased spending" equivalent to "sharp turn to the right"? Because I don't think so.

I'm going to gaze into my crystal ball and boldly predict that he'll spew out the usual partisan garbage, talk about having to work together while at the same time attacking the republicans, and then propose more spending and raising taxes.
