You didn't say it wasn't true, just that you didn't like it, which I'll chalk up to the usual- Denial.

Project the income trends of the last 30 years another 30 years into the future, tell us what you see, other than oligarchy.

Clearly you didnt work hard enough when you are one potential medical bill next to bankruptcy, and before things like student loans.

When asked about their financial situation, middle class Americans have mixed feelings. Their opinions are negative over the short term. But compared to ten years ago, 44 percent say they are more financially secure than they had been, while 42 percent say less.

Fixed it for ya :awe:

That's your response? That's what you are going to end on?

Of course. Pure Denial all along, so he'll just stick with it. He Believes, and that's that. Faith conquers all in the minds of the right wing.

He makes certain false assumptions to keep his mind right. First off, he thinks I'm complaining about my personal situation when I'm not. I'm one of the lucky, of the people these changes have gone around. That doesn't mean I've blinded myself to them. It's not all about Me, at all, but rather about what I see as malignant greed & lust for power at the top & about the right wing worship of it.

Or in other words:

"I deserve all my money, but people with more than me are malignant, greedy bastards who worship money."

That's exactly what I am going to end on with someone who constantly cries about how unfair things are out there. Didn't mommy and daddy teach you folks life is unfair and you got to make you own way? Or is it more fun to drop out of college and picket Wal-mart for better wages? Or maybe you think the Government will magically swoop in and rectify wages with more taxes on the rich.

Yes that exactly how I feel about the rich. I view them as my ACTIVE enemy. I loathe them far more than I despise Muslim terrorists. The day is coming when the rich are going to be pulled from their cushy lairs, a day when the American people rise up and go all French Revolution on their soulless asses.

Sweet. The Revolution Against The Rich gains another revolter. We now has Mcowned, Phokus and bshole. Power to the people.

What are you brainiacs going to do after you toss the rich out and then realize half of the population actually worked for them or one of their corporations?

I can't think that far ahead. I just know how I feel and I am not sure that I can really justify it.

Carly Fiorina is the person responsible for my animus. When she destroyed HP with an idiotic merger, exported the jobs of thousands, said Americans weren't entitled to jobs, was fired for her incompetence and then got a 20+ million golden parachute, I simply snapped and became a hater.

I see the rich exporting our jobs, our manufacturing and our technology, impovershing America and weakening her..... all for short term profits that line their overpaid pockets. They had the power and responsibility to keep the jobs and technology here in America, they failed miserably and all America must now suffer.

When will they realize that if a civil war / revolution were to form here - the only one's left standing would be the rich? :D

Silly retards.

Another extremist. Hey internet toughguy. Why don't you go out on the street and say that? Because you're a coward who has to hide behind his computer. A pathetic lowlife. That won't happen and what you're suggesting is ILLEGAL.

You going to attack the rich? They would kick your ass so hard. You, phokus and all the other morons should either be locked up or kicked out of the country.

Well there ya go. Have you ever stopped to think how many of those jobs are lost because Americans won't pony up a few more cents to buy American? Oh wait, see bold part of your quote.

That title definitely doesn't belong to you. Interesting how you refuse to condemn the killing of the rich.

Exactly. We buy whatever is cheapest or has the coolest celebrity spokesman, elect politicians who demolish tariffs and trade barriers, and then whine because our jobs go away. When American companies must compete head-to-head with foreign labor which costs pennies on the dollar, either those American companies turn to that cheap foreign labor or they go under. Either way those jobs are gone.

Or in other words:

"I deserve all my money, but people with more than me are malignant, greedy bastards who worship money."

That's it- go for the Denial of hyperbole.

It's one thing for people who have little, who have financial insecurity to want more & to strive for more. It's entirely another for people whose financial resources are inexhaustible even with very, very lavish lifestyles to do the same.

Let's say you're a multi-billionaire. Why would you want more money other than for the reasons I offered?

At the level of high finance, it's a game, where score keeping is done with money and power, while the only thing really at risk for the participants is their ego. Win or lose, their lifestyles change not in the slightest, encouraging reckless risk taking. That's not really good at all for the pawns in the game who've been abstracted into numbers on balance sheets.

Your chances of ever becoming one of the big players are ~10M:1 against, so you probably need to quit worshipping them at the altar of greed, quit thinking that they have the right to rig the game just because they're already Rich.
