The difference between Bush jokes and Obama jokes is that Bush jokes focus on his ineptitude or his bad policies while Obama jokes are always about race. In every joke Citirix has posted you could replace "Obama" with "black president" and the effect would be exactly the same. Oh, blacks like watermelon, oh, blacks like chicken wings, oh, blacks are on welfare, etc. I'm not inherently opposed to racial humor, but when you try to pass off racist jokes as political humor because the target happens to be black, you're just a race-baiting asshole. You tell a racist joke, someone says "Hey, that's racist," and you turn around and say, "Oh, we can't make jokes about Obama now?" It's ridiculous. Go find some material that doesn't just swap out "black" for "Obama" and try again.

-EDIT- As much as I hate to say it, I'm really not offended by the racism as much as I am by the complete laziness in coming up with Obama jokes. Then again, his policies don't lend much to humor at the moment; hope and change hasn't yielded much workable material.

*yawn*

And the "dumb-redneck" image that was given to Bush wasnt racist?

You dont have to be white to be a redneck

Bahahahaha! Yea, because redneck is used to label Mexicans all the time.

NOUN: Offensive Slang 1. Used as a disparaging term for a member of the white rural laboring class, especially in the southern United States.

You're a suburban redneck - does that count?

You know, it says it's offensive, but I think you'd be hard-pressed to find a white person who would be offended by being called a redneck. If you did, it's not going to be because they're white, it's because they're hoity-toity.
