Obama halts controversial EPA regulation

Why not comment on the actual impact of having or not having the regulation instead of the drive by shooting against the right? I don't see that your post provides anything productive.

Because this has been a HUGE talking point for the righties. What will the new excuse be if corporations still sit on their cash?

So rather than speak about the actual topic we are going to discuss supposed "political talking points" about about the topic? Why? What is your motivation here? To smear someone or to discuss the issue?

I do have to say, I LOVE how the article's writer points out how we need these new regulations or else our children will have no fun in their lives!

If you don't like it don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out of thread 😉

Is it not possible to dissect any news based on what's good for AMERICA, instead of figuring out how every situation can be used to insult "the other side"?

I've said it before and I'll say it again, politics is a disease that spreads and infects every part of our lives.

The partisanship will never end on this forum.

It's almost tribal like, very primitive.

So, in other words, you saw these regulations as little more than a tax on corporations?

So, if corporate taxes were raised, you would see no need for these new environmental regulations?

I'm just trying to follow the logic you present in your posts. If you have something more to say, then say it.

Sometimes the talking points are the larger issue, especially lately.

Where do you come up with this shit? Did I say anything about taxes? Where are you trying to go? Your entire post has nothing to do with what I have said.

I dont know much about this but the estimates for costs look pretty significant. 19-90 billion. Which I am sure we can all double for the real cost to business. Is this the right time to place costs on business? I dont think so. I applaud Obama for realizing we are up shit creek without a paddle right now. And placing more cost on business wont help us get out of the creek.

I mostly agree with the above and will put this on the lonely + side of the bho chart.

I won't stop reading the thread, that isn't up to you. However, not reading your partisan hack posts seems like a nice idea. Welcome to the list.

So is Obama now gonna just go ahead and make it official and switch parties? Or at least switch to the version of the Republican party that it was in the 90's. He's further to the right now than Reagan was.

Why? Because in a poor economy he decided not to impose costs onto business? If he is a democrat his role is to rubberstamp everything the envrionment left throws at him?

Good - he's not as dumb as I thought he was. I was really looking forward to the rolling blackouts next summer 😀.

And if he was a Republican he would rubber stamp anything to do with complete dregulation.
