Obama Admin Endorses Christian Prayers

The Obama admin has finally used their head and made the right decision. He has endorsed Christian prayers at council meetings in Greece, New York. The town for years has had prayers until an atheist and Jewish man complained. But the justice department agreed with the town though and the prayers are allowed.

Obama has been wrong for most of his term but it's finally good to see him endorse the prayers. Hopefully he can learn from this and be fair to Christians in other areas as well.

Did the obama admin make the right decision endorsing the prayers? Should the prayers be allowed?

So if the exact same council wanted to open their meetings with a Muslim prayer what would your response be?

The government has locked up an innocent Christian for a year in jail, they are routinely mocked by his cronies/the MSM and university professors and he supports a terrorist group the MB who kills Christians.

The United States has this thing called "Freedom of Religion" - I know you probably have never heard of it, but you might try looking it up some day.
 
I dont think the government has any buisness endorsing or discrediting religious beliefs. Something about separation of church and state.........

However, that also means that they cannot make ANY religious prayers illegal, even ones you dont agree with.

It should but they won't. It would be nice to see them go after sharia law and radical Islamists instead of picking on the Christians.

What are you talking about? Why do you want a bigger government? Everyone is entitled to their beliefs, and it has always been the American way to say "fuck you" to anyone who doesnt like them, I dont care what people do in a privately owner place, that is up to the owners. And I support that right 100% but my problem is the government treats certain religions better than others and this is wrong. Treat all religions the same.

I agree with that - Christianity has too much influence on the government and needs to be shut down. Either that or you're saying other religions need to be given as much air time as Christianity - so let's start with the Church of the FSM, and his noodley appendages.

Not sure if serious. I wasn't talking about Christianity. Just look at what obama and his admin is doing and they aren't pandering to Christians but other religions.

What you really meant to say was this:

"my problem is the government treats certain religions as if they are equal to Christianity, and this is wrong."
