No motive for the assault is known at this time.

lol. I guess these guys putting people in $115 debt is not motive enough. I don't care if the double parker had a ticket coming or not.

I bet that the assaulter must have felt that sweet feeling of satisfaction for that brief moment in time.

Who hasn't wanted to pop a traffic cop just once? (I don't....maybe)

He should have checked to make sure the person he was ticketing wasn't Black or Hispanic.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 6'00" and weighing approximately 165 lbs. Anyone with information...

LOL. Good luck with that one.

Honestly, I've never wanted to 'pop' a traffic cop. Not once. A parking ticket is probably the easiest ticket ever to avoid getting. Why anyone would harm someone else who's simply doing their job and trying to feed their family is beyond me.

Surely that's not what you mean to imply, right?

Hey, Hitler was only trying to feed his family by taking over the world.

Basic carnal animalistic imperatives like shoving food down your throat is not justification for just any occupation. Unless the aliens are here and/or there are invaders and then you gotta go ape-shit.

Being a "cop" without a gun in the Bronx is not a job you'd see me taking, especially when your job is to troll poor people and drug dealers in the ghetto all day. I'd rather be jobless and homeless.

A.) Hitler did not have a family that required feeding.

B.) Holy shit, you can't possibly be trying to equate these two situations, can you?

Just to clarify... You're saying that for someone to want to be a traffic cop, they have to have other motivations aside from simply being employed?

Way to take a common saying and blow it way, way out of proportion. Yay.

This kind of shit would happen less if tickets were issued electronically. Scan the sticker on the car with a photograph proof of the offense and go on your way. Living in NY all these years, I have no sympathy for double parkers.

Hope he is ok. And per the news, it was just a simple double parking ticket.
