Difference being NYC makes the trends, LA follows them.

Eh. That doesn't bother me. The statement that NYC isn't trendy was damned funny tho:)

La Jolla is a wonderful place. According to my ObjectDock weather docklet, it's 70F with mostly clear skies. I'm at home near LA for spring break. I can't complain about the weather here either.

Ah. I'm actually at home in Simi Valley, near Northridge. I have a couple friends who live in the Diamond Bar area. Pretty much the entire area above San Diego and below the "bay area" is LA isn't it? :p

my apt mate is from northridge....who do u knw is from diamond bar? and what yr?...
<--- 4th yr..nop not graduating this yr...revelle is the sux for ee majors

yeah LA area is one huge huge sprawl. The city of LA sprawls out all the way down towards san juan capristrano...to all the way north towards ventura...and all the way inland toward victorville...i think....

right when you take off of LAX on a plane going to the east US...and look out the window, it looks like the deathstar...nothing but gray human development from horizon to horizon

I'm a 3rd year in Revelle, but I'm doing ICAM with a minor in CS so it's not that tough. :) I know two guys Trevor and Kevin who are from that area. They're both third years too.

Simi Valley is actually in Ventura county, but I just say LA, because "LA" is prettty much 30 minutes away.

"LA" is a massive sprawl of suburbs. NYC is a massive city. They can't be compared.
