NY Jets **Official 2007** Season

Another pathetic result. Gave the damn game away; my earlier feelings of this being a recurring theme for the season are coming way too true.

Pennington is done for. There is virtually no down field game or quick delivery near passing game. The defense only needs to worry about a passing game within 15 yards of scrimmage which lets them also contain the running attack at the same time. I will easily predict now there is 0 chance of him being the starting QB next year.

That interception near the goal line was shameful. No need to chuck that ball up there like that. I'll second the thought that i think he will not be the starting QB next year.

Jets' Sunday ended with a 16-9 defeat at home to the Eagles. The defense played decent, although the recent rash of tackling problems is still prevalent. Jones managed to put together a very good running game even with the inherent problems of the Jets offense. For the second game this year the Jets could not manage a TD with 4 downs inside the 10 to send the game to overtime.

At this point I hope they don't change QBs as it looks like we're positioned well for a top 10 pick and there is virtually no way to even think about the playoffs without going undefeated throughout the remaining schedule.

😛

I've told my fellow Jets fans all along that they have a great team limited by a mediocre quarterback. Put Clemens in there, and by the time he figures anything out you guys will be 3-13. Glen Dorsey Ahoy!

This division is a Joke.. no Wonder the Pats have it so easy every year.

Of course it's only a couple years removed from this being about the toughest division in the NFL were one if not both wildcard spots were won.

We need to close this thread. Unfortunately I think our season is over at this point. It is so heartbreaking to sit and watch the Jets give it up every week. So close; same story, different year.

Just heard that the Jets have let it out that they are willing to trade Pennington. But the trade deadline is about hear and I doubt there will be much interest even with some many QBs out this year (hello Arizona with the 3rd and 4th string guys starting this week and both on the team for less than 2 weeks total).

The good: Jets beat the Steelers and showed more defense over an entire game than they have all year.

The bad: They move out of sole position of 2nd place in the draft to a 3 way tie.

They're one of the better teams in the league. GTFO Pats troll.

Yet lost to a pathetic Jets team.

Trap game - it happens all the time.

I was at the game, it was surprisingly interesting rather than the beatdown I expected.

Ignore the clueless Patsy trolls, they can't help but talk smack about Pitt for some reason. Juding by their comments one might mistakenly assume the Pats have a more recent SB win than Pitt.

GG Jets, nice job on establishing the run and getting that much pressure on the QB. Great job exploiting Pitt's 2 biggest weaknesses this season, return coverage and pass protection.
