I'm still more mad about the defense taking off the last quarter of the championship game against denver than the recent QB injuries, so 😛

Managed to play 16 games last year...

I suggest we consider the possibility an android and/or evil twin came in at some point.

<-Eagles fan so really doesn't have any room to talk but will anyways. 😉

LOL... The Jets are one of the few teams that make me feel good about liking the Seahawks for the last 25 years.

Yeah, the 80's were a BRUTAL decade for the Jets... not like the Seahawks are a real accomplished franchise in their 30 years of history though

It's sad to see CMart go. Coupled with Tiki's retirement, you're seeing both NY RBs for the better part of the last decade gone. Thomas Jones was a very interesting pickup. He's still relatively young and I think he's going to be very productive in the Jets offense. Add Houston and Washington to that and the ground game should be pretty solid. Of course, on the passing side of things, Pennington's arm could fall off at any time.

First game tonight at the Meadowlands against the pitbulls, er, I mean Falcons. No national TV coverage.

Week 2 (preseason) game next Friday at 8 against the Vikings broadcast by Fox.

nooooooo

HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. -- New York Jets running back Thomas Jones limped off the practice field after injuring his lower right leg Sunday.

There was no immediate word on the nature or severity of the injury, but it appeared to be either to his ankle or calf. Jones wasn't made available to the media, and coach Eric Mangini had already addressed the media before practice.

Jones was untouched during running back drills when he went to plant his right foot and fell. He immediately took off his helmet and untied his shoe before he was examined by a trainer, who wrapped his lower right leg.

Jones, acquired from Chicago to give New York a bona fide No. 1 back, limped off the field to the sideline and had a more substantial wrap placed around the leg.

Jones spent the rest of practice on the sidelines, working the hand bike and stretching. He walked very gingerly, but was able to put weight on the leg. Jones also was clearly able to move his ankle.

Boo Jets. They're lucky they even made the playoffs last year. They weren't better than even my Bills. 😛

Actually, they were. Had a better record and all! Incidentally, thats why they went to the playoffs. And the Bills didnt. 😛

Then again, what do I know?

Actually, they were better than the Bills, that is why they made the playoffs and the Bills were sitting at home watching the Jets on TV 😉

Yes, let's ignore the head to head games and the fact that the Bills' schedule was the hardest in the league, while the Jets had the 3rd easiest AFC schedule. But hey, whatever makes you feel better. 😉
