Made me think of Mars Volta, then I started rocking out in my head!

Bring it on NV! I want 100x Performance in my cell phone!

He said it himself, paraphrasing "referencing Tegra 2, Parker will be 100x performance in 2015."

EDIT: oops, he meant Tegra 1, Parker will be 100x performance of Tegra 1 by 2015.

EDIT; Whoops, I was focusing on Logan/Parker not Maxwell/Volta.

My fault for the confusion!

WHoops, and you're right. I'm fixed on Parker, not Volta...my bads!

Gonna edit that to make me look less like an idiot haha.

lol, we've all been there :) Exciting new tech can turn even the strongest of us into a gibbering idiot. When we got our new workstations at work I was sat there cackling for a good half an hour.

So nVidia is the first to start with on package memory. The question is only when you buy a CPU with a fixed amount of memory as well.

Finally something exiting happening in regard to GPU architectures. Hopefully this will alleviate bandwidth bottlenecks.

Prototypes?

Remember it was a Pentium M that showed onpackage chipset+cmos VRM ;)

Takes time to get there for commercial products.

yep... stacked memory is probably the only way to go, when dealing to 4k resolutions
