Made me think of Mars Volta, then I started rocking out in my head!
Bring it on NV! I want 100x Performance in my cell phone!
He said it himself, paraphrasing "referencing Tegra 2, Parker will be 100x performance in 2015."
EDIT: oops, he meant Tegra 1, Parker will be 100x performance of Tegra 1 by 2015.

RAILVEN, this Volta is about the GPU, not the phones![]()
WHoops, and you're right. I'm fixed on Parker, not Volta...my bads!
Gonna edit that to make me look less like an idiot haha.

Prototypes?
Remember it was a Pentium M that showed onpackage chipset+cmos VRM
Takes time to get there for commercial products.
So nVidia is the first to start with on package memory. The question is only when you buy a CPU with a fixed amount of memory as well.
Hem hem http://www.anandtech.com/show/6600/...rformance-compared-to-nvidias-geforce-gt-650m
But yeah, I know, small eDRAM cache vs entire memory package. If Denver has good performance too, they could make some seriously good SoCs.
