Well, yes. Asides from using the Titan to pick off early adopters at a premium they haven't really significantly moved the price tiers of their gaming cards for a while.

Compute stuff has always cost $$$$$.

Take into account that currently the Ti costs very nearly €/$ 1000 here... :mad:

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti likely exists only because AMD Radeon RX Vega 56 is ahead of NVIDIA 1070.

Do you think there will be a successor, 2070 Ti, the 2080 minus 128 cores, even without an AMD competitor of NVIDIA 2070?

Speculation for NVIDIA GeForce 20 series initial pricing (USD):
  • 2070: 380
  • 2070 Ti? 500
  • 2080: 600
