What you're doing now is alot more "schoolyard" than anything I have said or done on these forums IMO.

I don't have a "one-eyed view" of hardware. I like what I feel is the best card on the market and advocate it to others - something I've consistently done for years. Sometimes it's an nVidia card/platform I'm advocating and at other times it's ATi. However, my view on AEG agents remains the same: they don't belong in this or any other forum. Say no to shill marketers.

I hope the Moderators make an announcement soon pertaining to undercover paid advertisers (ie - Rollo) being allowed here. I would also hope they would look at whether Rollo himself should be allowed to stay simply because of the nonstop string of flamewars he deliberately starts. The Video forum has been relatively peaceful and MUCh more productive in his absence. It would be a shame to have this newfound progress ruined by allowing him to stay and poison it with his paid anti-ATI/pro-Nv agenda.

Creig is making a career out of it. I have noticed that not many people from this thread have bothered to participate in the community combat thread I started. I guess those with mob mentalities don't mix well with actually being a part of a community.

I believe I already responded to you concerning your "Community Combat" thread and thanked you for inviting me, but I don't own CoD, CoD2 or UT. So I didn't see any reason to post in the thread.

As far as "making a career out of it", this is not the sole thread I post in. But I (and others) have put up with Rollo's anti-social behavior long enough and I don't intend to simply let the matter slide this time.

After Rollo returned from his two week ban for excessive flaming I left him alone. Even moreso, I extended an olive branch by defending his opinions against others when I felt his post had merit. I had my misgivings, but was willing to let past hostilies remain in the past. Unfortunately, my intuition proved true and he reverted to his usual aggressive posting style once he was certain it was safe to resume doing so.

If I didn't feel as strongly as I do, I wouldn't be posting here. But I am convinced that banning Rollo would be giant first step in restoring this forum. His secret receiving of free video cards from a company paid to increase nVidia sales only further proves that Rollo should no longer be able to post within these forums.

But by all means, keep making fun of me if you feel that's proper. I have nothing against you except your inexplicable steadfast loyalty towards Rollo.

This issue did appear to die down a bit while Rollo was still away on his "vacation." Now that he's back things are only going to heat up again. The majority of posters on this forum do not approve of Rollo's unethical past deeds as well as his current behavior patterns, as evidenced by the poll in this very thread. This issue is screaming for intervention by the mods.

I know this is a long thread, but it has been propagandized to no end. People weren't banned for accusing Rollo of being associated with AEG. It is the abusive way they went about it. Why you people cant get your minds around this, I have no idea. The only thing I can think of is that it sounds a lot worse to say "People were banned "Just" for accusing Rollo of being AEG and he was the whole time!!!" rather then to say, "Those people were banned because of the foul and abusive content in both thread posts, and PM's to Rollo." Name some people who were banned or vacationed and I'll look up the conversations if they are still available. I can't get hold of the PM's of course unless Rollo still has them and would give them up.

So, don't believe everything you hear from the mob. They want it to be 1000x worse than it really is, and they hate Rollo even if they say, "I don't hate Rollo, I just want justice." A bigger crock of BS you will not find in this forum.

No, the posters in this thread are screaming for intervention by the mods. Rollo made it know to us he was AEG affiliated, and placed it in his sig. Which is what everyone wanted.
That's not good enough for most in here, because they have been battling with him over hardware flamewars for so long, and they can't seem to win the arguments most of the time, and have become bitter. No other explaination for the extensive abuse they are continually dishing out even now that time has passed and all it out in the open. Anyway....... I'm glad he is back. He has the best info sources for us on the nvidia side and that alone is worth him staying put.
